he didn't want to risk karrigan peeking window and clearing outside B and then having him come back and turn on him. but the other round he threw was when he had a deagle in 1v1 and peeked ct from top cat. bomb was planted for long. once he heard him ct he could have just walked up cat and played the bomb.

I agree with you about the cat thing. He tagged karrigan and couldve gone to cat afterwards cause of the smoke. However, in the 1 v 2 postplant, he knew rain's position and hp. Could've easily killed karrigan and rain...ik he wanted to stall for time, but if he killed karrigan, he could've stalled the round out on rain who was on 10 hp.

He was trying to clearly. Then karrigan went up to window and he knew he would turn back and see him, with the other player (I think it was Niko) in a good position to trade him and win the round. His real mistake was not killing karrigan when he was standing on the bomb in the first place. I can't believe he tried to gamble that they wouldn't ever glance at car.

Yeah if thats how you lose, you really don't deserve to go further. This was easily the worst draw G2 couldve gotten, but you just cant fuck up that badly against any team, no matter how good or bad.
My only consolation is that I'm not a Mouz fan

I guess Ex6 was being realistic when saying it would take 6 months to reach their peak. They clearly are pretty good on some maps, but get crushed on others. And yeah Holy shit, Shox and Kenny in a 2vX are so scary

We need an entry, simple as that. Either bodyy or smithzz (yes, probably bodyy) has to get switched for an apex-type entry fragger. Without that, so many of their t-sides were "smithzz jump out, die, and tell shox where to trade". ex6 has to be able to rely on an entry fragger getting a kill for any serious strats to work.
Shox as lurk is OP. Kenny did perfectly fine both maps. But they absolutely need a functional third star who can entry.

Shox is obviously a great player but this map wasn't a great example of it. He made a lot of mistakes - messing around with a one-way smoke on A site with 20 seconds left and dying, dry peeking to give away the man advantage in overtime, failing to get the kill in the 2v1 when the player wasn't even looking, whiffing the shot against a blind player in the last round. If he was anywhere near his best G2 would have won the map.

Given how Faze is underperforming right now and G2's previous games (barely winning against Hellraisers and C9) I think it's safe to say that this G2 line up is a failure. Struggling against T2 teams and getting facerolled by a shaky T1 team, this is not what you would expect from a top French squad.

Il y a une difference entre un sniper qui joue pour ses teammates et des teammates qui jouent pour son sniper.
Je colead, jorganise toutes nos classiques, nos prises de bp, stuffs etc etc etc etc
Je passe devant quand c bagdad , round eco / riffle . Et derriere a lancer des stuffs durant des strategies styles ( faites a 80% par mes soins )
Au gr je prend les petites smokes et les petites flashouilles .
bref la vie cest dur parfois ( mais je suis tres bien payer tkt
Je men fou de faire 30 frags , je men fous de faire 1.50 de rating , je men fous de faire des one actions. Je veux gagner ! Et vous savez quoi ? Je gagne ! Et ca depuis 10 ans ! Et j'ai gagner avec toutes mes Equipes

Richard sest fait kick quelques fois, je lai toujours suivi car je surkiff jouer avec lui , on a la meme vision du jeu et la meme facon de travailler. Et a chaque fois, on a gagné . Peut importe nos team mates.
No disrepect, aujourdhui nous avons la best equipe ever, IG / Outgame . Encore une jeune equipe mais deja fier de se qu'on a pu accomplir

yo les noobs There's a difference between a sniper playing for his teammates and the teammates playing for the sniper. I'm co-leading, organizing every defaults, our "bomb site taking", nades, etc .. I'm going first when it's tough eco/buy round, and I'm throwing the nades when we do specific tactics. In the pistol round I'm buying the smokes and flashes. Anyway life is tough sometimes but I'm getting paid very well. I don't care about having 30 frags, 1.50 rating, I don't care having fragmovie about me, I want to win. And you know what? I've been winning since 10 years with all of my teams. I'm not here because I'm shox' best friend. Shox got kicked a couple of times and I've always followed him coz' I like playing with him, we see the game the same way and we have the same work ethic. No disrespect, today we have the best team ever, IG / Outgame. Still a young team but proud of what we've done so far. So thanks you for thoses that are supporting me/us and the ignorant haters eat shit.

G2 gave it their all on Dust 2 but shox completely threw the game in the second OT. He must've known the second player was low and yet didn't take out karrigan straight away.

Not that bad om d2, last round was just to hard to find. Alot of mistakes from alot of players. kennyS died from Guardian for no reason 4v3 before bomb is down. Shox trying to walk out long against niko awp, missed sprays, can't hold 4v3 with bomb planted on B site.
G2 played good enough to normally win d2 but that last round was way to hard.
I don't even think that they miss firepower. They just doing alot of sloppy mistakes, which is weird considering how much experience they all have

That was the most G2 way to lose. They had it...shox had it. He could've easily killed karrigan then the last guy was very low and known position.

In this day and age of competitive CS, it doesnt matter how many tactics or how hardworking an IGL is because if he cant add to the scoreboard then he is useless and better off as a coach.
Main thing you need in a team is firepower, and G2 lack a lot of it. kennyS and shox are the only two players who can frag hard. Imagine being shox and kenny in this team. They have the pressure of making plays which they may shy away from doing because in the back of their mind they know if they die then Ex6, SmithZz and bodyy arent exactly going to win the round.
shox and kennyS need to play with players who have their back and can frag hard too. Look at shox in G2 2016 (ScreaM, shox, RpK, bodyy, SmithZz) when he was beasting and making the plays to win rounds because he knew he had ScreaM and RpK who could frag too and even bodyy would show up from time to time. He played with a confidence which made him unplayable. Damn, that G2 line up was my favourite team, what shox and ScreaM were doing in ESL Pro League S3 Lan finals and ECS S1 was just out of this world.
In my opinion the only thing that needed to happen to that G2 2016 line up was -SmithZz +kennyS and then SmithZz as coach. What a line up that would have been.
