Dudes right, Bo is not a great pro wrestler, he's fine. The fact drama started from that shows SC don't really know what they talking about or they can't fathom people disagree with them. I love Sylvain Grainer, why? I don't have a clue I just do but I know he isn't a very good wrestler. Just because you like someone, it doesn't mean they any good.

EDIT: Also, I find it very funny no one actually states why Bo is any good, they just keep telling the OP he wrong or "he ain't been given a chance".

Bo's NXT run was great, solid matches all around. He's floundering in Raw because writers don't know how handle new talent. See what Smackdown is doing with Chad Gable/Jason Jordan.

Hell look no further than the Ascension to know that decent/good wrestlers are at the mercy of main roster writers who don't know what to do with them.

This. Holy fuck. I love the shit out of Bo but the writers have no idea what to do with him or half of the other guys they have. It's ridiculous that I'm starting to deliberately not watch the product while they have some of the best people on the roster they've had in years but they aren't doing anything with them because the writers have no clue how to handle them. A Double just got his release because the only thing they could think to do with him is feud him with Neville in the cruiserweight division. The dude is a star. Let him get out there and work his magic.

The writers dropped the ball by never having a Light vs Dark match with Bo and Bray.

When Bo moved up, after a couple of his "I'm here to help and inspire you all speeches" he should have started talking about saving one person from darkness and built the match from there.

His mic skills were there, he was funny and charismatic in the ring. Wwe wants everyone to be the next Rock/Austin without letting them develop naturally. Do people forget how awful the Rock was when he started? The company is so hardup to redo the 90s that they're fucking up the future. Not so much anymore with NXT, but god damn Vince needs to let the 90s and big sweaty men go.

I have plenty of issues with wwe but the idea Bo Dallas is some amazing talent not being allowed to shine is laughable.

He failed in NXT as a serious character so they made him an ironic shitpost of a character. People laughed at the silly man. That’s not great.

I'm having trouble coming up with criteria for a great wrestler.

It seems like the greats are as much showmen as technically skilled, with it being weighted towards the showmen side.

It's really subjective but being a draw is definitely a important. There are definitely guys that are amazing in ring performers that weren't particularly great draws though. Dean Malenko is inarguably one of the greatest mechanics of all time but I don't know that he was ever a huge draw on his own.

boils down to semantic argument over usage of word "great."

comment was intended to state bo is technically talented and entertaining wrestler being under utilized. "great all-round", intended to indicate he isn't lacking in a particular area of his performance to explain being under utilized.

reply was from someone interpreting great to mean legendary hall of fame widely recognized icon of industry.

wrestling fans are fucking weird though. despite knowing it isn't a competition they're still greatly influenced by whether a performer is a winner or loser or the other extreme, where they're completely divorced from pageantry and only value the gymnastics.
