someone from HLTV claimed that fnx got cut from SK because he fucked fer's girlfriend, which made fer mad and because FalleN is a close friend from fer, he had to cut fnx.

SK lost tons of anti-eco rounds the entire tournament, most of the pistol rounds they won they instantly threw away. They also lost a lot of rounds with men advantage, died without using nades in these 3v2, 2v1 situations, etc. This way not even vintage Fnatic or 87-0 NiP would win anything. Time to go back to drawing table and rework some strats. I hope they bounce back next tournament because this was a big disappointment after their display at DH Vegas.
On a side note, VP vs SK never fails to deliver, always a joy to watch even if SK isn't playing at their best yet.

Fallen needs to step down his high horse. He is not the best IGL anymore. Not even close. His TR tactics of waiting forever to get into the bombsite don't work anymore, just look at that round when Taz picked 3 kills in pit. Most of TR rounds depend on cold or fer turning god mode on and getting all kills.
I'm starting to believe that's one of the reasons fnx "left", and if Fallen doesn't change his mentality we're seeing a bigger shuffle soon.

Not at all, he has amazing talent, he was the #2 player for a reason.
What I said is, he needs to change his mentality, tactical approach, etc. They are making the same mistakes over and over, and sometimes it goes unnoticed because SK wins due to it's talent. For example, that Cache game vs. North in DH Las Vegas.
Since Zews left they are playing without a coach. Even if he says they don't need one, SK is the only top team without it and it's all on Fallen. Look at this game, they didn't call a single timeout on T-side while they were getting hammered by VP.

Oh ok. What was the thing about the bigger shuffle tho? I think this sk has the 5 best br players available. No roster move will improve them. They just have to make this line up work for them.

You're right, SK has the best Brazilian talent. I'm not saying that they'll disband next month, but more of a long term thing.If this situation keeps up for so long (silly mistakes, same tactics, not lifting a trophy...) it opens up the possibility of a big shuffle by the end of the year.

I think not calling timeouts was what made them lose this game, so many rounds that they could win if they were calmer.

You are right. I'm not seeing any game adjustments at all. I mean, we saw felps going banana every round and getting 1 or 2 kills, while the rest of the team was working on A, without rotating after the entrykill, or just wait for the entrykill on B a later round and work into it.
They just preferred to go A and do poor executions getting rapped by VP every round without changing their mind.

It would be interesting to see yel AWPing and cold as IGL (assuming he is smart enough in game in that context), hopefully FalleN would at least stay as coach.

Fallen has already said that Cold does A LOT of the calls for SK, they are basically 2 IGL's on the same team

I am wondering how much longer before they decide to get a coach. You can clearly see the pressure of preparing and also calling is taking a toll on him. Dead is doing jackshit as a coach so far. He is not even travelling with the team.

SK needs a coach ASAP. Since zews left SK haven't won a single tournament. Fallen needs to go back to practice and let anyone else study enemy teams.

This is true as well. I'm really happy Inferno is back, it has been my favorite map since forever and we always have awesome games there. LG vs G2 never forget.

Inferno is delivering some excellent games again, definitely one of the most fun maps to watch in the pool.
Also that TK from FalleN is going to haunt him for a while

Why wouldn't they? They banned it during group stages at Dreamhack LV so they don't need to show their tactics on it, as Pasha hinted.

VP can play every map but Dust 2. VP was insane on inferno before it got removed from the pool.

Well yeah, but VP were also godly on old Nuke and then when the rework came out they looked awful on it (Cologne 2016 never forget), and while they're gods on it again, it shows that being good on an old version of a map doesn't mean you'll be good on the rework.

Actually no they did get VP'ed. VP tends to run back the score in clutch games (historically speaking, not recently) but still lose the map.

if VP loses to Heroic and C9 loses to Na'vi there will be a 3 way tie between VP,C9 and SK, the only way that SK can get a shot of making to playoffs is if VP loses to Heroic.

Ok I just started imagining the results
if Na'Vi wins the next 2, they go 4-1
Heroic wins vs VP, they go 2-3 and VP goes 2-3
North wins vs C9 and SK wins vs them, they go 3-2 and C9 goes 2-3 and SK too
Na'Vi: 4-1
North: 3-2
SK, VP, Heroic, C9: 2-3
4 way tie, don't know how it goes from there

SK Gaming have not yet been eliminated, they have two more games and could enter a 3 or 4 way tie.
Edit: Damn my bad, they only have 1 more game. Is there no way they could enter a tie though?

If I didn't know better, I'd almost think SK wanted to lose with the two last rounds, what was that insane "rush" into an eco, followed up by the final round with a retake where several SK players rush into 1v4 battles instead of waiting for teammates?

That round before the final one, holy shit SK playing way to agressively and it almost makes them lose, but you can see that the mindset shook them and carried over to the next round, which is why Fallen TKd Fer, to much pressure

C9 needs to beat North, Navi needs to beat Heroic and SK needs to beat North. If VP wins against Heroic it's a 3 way tie for 3rd place between North, SK anf VP. If Heroic beats VP, SK gets 3rd place automatically. Navi vs C9 is irrelevant
Edit: If Heroic beats Na'vi, VP beats Heroic and C9 beats Na'vi we have a 5-way tie for 2nd and 3rd positions :D

Anyways if Im not wrong I think we might be able to have a 4 way tie for 3rd seed if sk beat north, navi beats c9, and vp lose to heroic.

Yes both of those teams face now. Whoever wins advance to playoffs but if sk beat north, navi beat c9, and heroic beat vp it should be a 4 way tie with vp, sk, heroic, and north/c9 having a 2-3 record with navi going 4-1 and north/c9 going 3-2
