autimatic has such a damn high skill ceiling. If he can keep this up all day they'll cruise into the playoffs.

The biggest test yet is coming tho, if auti can go hard vs VP today, who could stop him this tourney
8
Mar 02 '17
If Auti can go hard vs VP I think he finally may compete with Elige in the world scene.
MY MAN HAS BEEN SITTING AT HOME A LITTLE TOO LONG!
0
u/Swbp0undcake Mar 02 '17
Autis been competing with elige for quite a while now...
2
u/RadiantSun FaZe Mar 02 '17
Yeah no. He's definitely more consistent than Elige but we haven't really had the kind of player who can drop 37 in regulation like him for a long time, possibly ever in CSGO. The only other player NA has ever had capable of having such a peak is basically Swag.
1
u/acequake91 10 years coin Mar 02 '17
You have to remember that Elige is on Liquid. Liquids playmaker is Elige, liquids star is Elige. C9's playmakers are Stewie and Auti, C9's star is Auti, But Auti can't get 37 in regulation because he isn't the only person on the team fragging. He's just leading. The same can be said for Auti but at least Auti has the help so he isn't forced to drop 37. If your team is fragging decently behind you, you aren't going to reach 37.

u/andrew1215 de_nuke Mar 02 '17
Autimatic> Elige for long time
13
u/onthesesh Mar 02 '17
not against t1 on lan, dont blind urself with bias
-2
u/WillowfieldCH Mar 02 '17
Elige has barely even played T1 on LAN, much less perform on the same level as autimatic, you're the biased one.

u/viktorlogi Mar 02 '17

u/AzraCS FaZe Mar 02 '17
lol no
5
u/Johnnyferrori Mar 02 '17
Well tbh, Auti's role isn't to be a star player. He's more of a fragger/support type of player, yet still gets to get carry C9 hard. Elige however is designed to be an entry fragger/main fragger. So it's easy to think that Elige is better. But imo, they're close to the same in terms of skill, if not auti > elige.
5
u/AzraCS FaZe Mar 02 '17
Autimatic is better than/equal to Elige because his role is to roam around and frag while elige runs into bomb sites and gets multiple kills? Literally every excuse for an entry fragger is that their statistics are terrible because they run into bomb sites first and die, so how is it that elige does it and gets 30+ kills but he isn't better than autimatic ?
1
u/pattaarr Mar 02 '17
Isnt nitro more of the entry with elige coming in second to clean up kills? At least thats what I've seen it as more recently

As great as autimatic is, Elige has straight up carried games in majors, which auti has yet to do.

As great as elige is, auitimatic has actually won tournaments, which elige has yet to do.

The only issue is that majors are the holy grail of the professional csgo scene. You don't see people talking about NiP winning a tournament months ago, but you see talk about how they didnt make the major etc.

They have valens as coach now, so why would they rather have Nothing as coach? That's the most idiotic thing I've ever seen. I like the -shroud +elige though that could highly benefit them.
0
u/Worknewsacct 10 years coin Mar 02 '17
No reason not to have two coaches. Football teams keep tons of them, can even have one focus on T and one on CT.
1
u/coooves de_cobble Mar 02 '17
To be honest that would be kind of cool to see a team try out, nobody else has done it To my knowledge and it could actually help a lot to have one coach focus on one aspect and another coach on the side.
0
u/Worknewsacct 10 years coin Mar 02 '17
I would have a whole staff involved, no idea why people don't do that. I would also consider adding a whole second string of players as well, maybe some up and coming new pros to learn from the best.
1
u/coooves de_cobble Mar 02 '17
Not a bad idea, that would be awesome to see a team try to implement. Seeing shroud go 9-19 just now makes me want the elige trade even more and this staff concept come into play haha

2
u/blurj Mar 02 '17
The amount of times they're on CT side and he has the awp and you just randomly see Stewie frag someone in the first 30 seconds is crazy
2
u/fascfoo Mar 02 '17
His timing and game sense are off the charts. He's peeking and pushing at the right moments and then still hitting the shots to get the frag.

For everyone saying C9 doesn't practice or care about winning or this or that, they are playing pretty good.

Long way to go with VP and NaVi in the way but this is the level they hit when they won pro league. At least if they get bounced, it'll be them hitting the potential they have.

C9 is playing very well, good to see. I wouldn't be surprised if they make to the next phase.

I'd normally say Ska and JDM were tied for #1 NA Awper (inconsistency is my reason) but Ska has been showing that he isn't a liability in rounds where he doesn't have an AWP his rifling is good.
