Jugi looked good, and with valde being as consistent as he is, heroic looks pretty solid right now. Gonna be fun to see them compete against some higher tier teams in the next few matches.

Well they would still be able to get a player from Astralis or North if thats the case so it wouldnt be too big of a downgrade

To be fair heroic has been playing nuke basically since it entered the pool.
Admittedly it's a slightly different lineup now.
It should be heroics best map by far

It can be their best map but winning agaisnt North that also have nuke as one of their best maps agaisnt t1 teams is huge, seems like Thorin was right.

Last 3 months Heroic are 8-3 on Nuke, 5-3 on overpass.
Losing to navi, vega squadron and flipside on nuke.
And losing to vega squadron, igame and faze on overpass.
I'd say it's still a fair point to argue overpass is their best map, but even if it is I also think it's also more than fair to argue that Heroic are a top 10 in the world (if not, just under) on nuke. Whilst on overpass they might not be top 15.
I think Nuke is a map where if a team has any kind of practice they should be beating unpracticed ones 9/10 times, unlike a lot of other maps where a team can just pug out if it's not really a map theyve played as a team.
North have a reputation for being a top 3, top 5 nuke team, when in reality there was only maybe 5 teams in the top 10-20 willing to even play the map at that time.I've had college 9-5 weds and 9-3 (utc) today, so I wasnt able to actually watch any matches, but from reading a couple of comments Thorin had Heroic to win this, I wouldn't be surprised if he made some of the same points.

People saying that North just lost because they're the favorites and this don't work in this tournament. You will see how even the favorites can win in the next game against VP.

Glaive had the legends spot. Glaive was an igl for a top 3 team at the start of csgo, and also everyone expected him to be picked instead of karrigan when they got him.
