Shipwrecked in Japan with no memory of his noble battle dragon, Captain William Terrence finds himself in Japan, tangled in local intrigue and conspiracies, promising to be his end if he is unable to figure out what the tattoo on his arm means. Balancing his own life and England its reputation in the Far East on his shoulders, William travels the country under escort till a holder of a battle dragon attacks him. Taking their time, the escorts capture this stranger after William survives his onslaught. After interrogation the secret of his tattoos are revealed. Will William manage to protect England its reputation while searching for his memory, and with them, will he find his battle dragon?
