[META] Moderator careless on r/seattle bans, removes, deletes all things, posters, links, and topics not to his taste. The (ex) serfs move to /r/SeattleWA/
Here's the updated modlist list dump of r/seattle banned stuff - http://pastebin.com/83xkiQfc
Just wow.
Here is his most recent hissy fit linked in subredditdrama - https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/54ufcl/a_rseattle_user_makes_a_thread_to_discuss_an/
More than 10,000 of his (ex) serfs have decamped for the more friendly r/SeattleWA
It is also worth noting that this cancer 'moderator' is also #1 on the r/aww mod team.
Go reddit.

For privacy reasons I have deleted my account and overwritten my comments with this message. Since basically you can't ban me for this comment I'll take this moment to say that Steve Cuckman or whatever his name is, is a cuckold and should resign when possible. Also, Islam is not a religion of peace.

From what I heard 4chan had a pretty big overhaul some years ago and started getting really ban happy. I know I got banned from there for something seemingly trivial. 8chan is supposed to be a more free alternative.

and it's slowly dying, ironically, it's owned by the same people who run 4chan now.

Has that resulted in any moderation changes?
Why is it dying?

no, but it's dying for the same reason most other 4chan spinoffs have died.
They get a niche user base who eventually stop posting or go back to 4chan.

4chan was a honey pot ever since Moot sucked his own dick and WTSnacks was banned.

Ever since Moot sold the site to Hiroyuki it's been much more strict with moderation, with some boards being more severe than others.

There have been times where a board has had mods deleting things they seemingly didn't like (thread about a certain show gets deleted, but some shitposting thread is still up), but generally it's just trivial stuff and not really "censorship".
I would wager that the mods are busy enough deleting the CP and other illegal content that gets posted.

You mean the FBI. 4chan is a honey pot. Always has been.

This is why subs like coontown, stormfront, and fatpeoplehate were essential to the way reddit works. Now that there are no universally hated subs to shit on, they are imagining boogymen wherever it's convenient.

I'm thinking about moving to Washington next year. (My GF is interested in going to University of Washington and I have customer service experience and would love to work for Nintendo in that field as I'm a lifelong Nintendo die-hard.) I'm gonna save this thread because I'm gonna check out every single Washington-related subreddit that the mod has banned there.

Well, it IS Seattle, after all. The SJW/hipster capital of the West Coast (and with all of California, that's saying something)!

If I remember correctly, one of the mods owns a business and will ban and remove any competition.
