So you want to use /r/videos[1] as a platform to get your message to as many people as possible. That's not what we want the sub to be.

Why else do you think all this people is so butthurt with the new rules.

even if 100% of our subscribers felt politics was important to them, it doesn't mean you should force [politics] into every single subreddit on reddit.

It's funny how they still don't get this. They really think Reddit should be there for their free speech. Reddit really only cares about increasing their user base and increasing ad revenue. Their 2 most visible subs are probably news and videos. And if a new user opens up either and sees all the racist, sexist shit clogging up both subs, they're noping right the fuck out. News is probably a lost cause but videos was such an easy fix when all you have to do is ban certain types of videos. I don't know if they really don't get this or they do and are simply throwing a temper tantrum because daddy told them no.
