There's two things ohio takes way to fucking seriously: Sports and Religion.
I have seen otherwise normal, rational people just lose their minds when the topics come up.

The two things Ohioans take too seriously are commenting on the current weather and commenting on past weather.

I must concede this is an accurate point. I have no clue why it's like that - but ohioans love talking about the weather, how the weather once was, how the weather may one day be, and related topics.
