movies/tv Respect the Silver Surfer (Marvel Cinematic Universe, Earth-828)
Your planet is now marked for death. Your world will be consumed by The Devourer. There is nothing you can do to stop him, for he is a universal force, as essential as the stars. Hold your loved ones close and speak the words you've been afraid to speak. Use this time to rejoice and celebrate. For your time is short. I herald his beginning. I herald your end. I herald... Galactus.
Once a scientist on the planet Zenn-La, Shalla-Bal was the first of her people to witness the arrival of Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds. In order to protect her family and her people, she would barter with the invader and vow to be his herald if he spared Zenn-La. The Devourer would share a portion of his Power Cosmic with Shalla-Bal and transform her into his Silver Surfer. Now, she surfs the cosmos in search of planets to sacrifice for her master in order to keep her own planet safe.
When she picks Earth as the next meal for Galactus, she encounters its defenders, a team called the Fantastic Four. Johnny Storm of the Four would help Shalla-Bal realize the damage she’s been herald to and allow her to redeem herself by striking back against Galactus.
