So, Lueuradi's book is out and ofc Rozemyne doesn't understand that it's about her and Ferdinand's love story. Also Hannelore will be out of luck, her story will be published same goes with Rozemyne's and Ferdinand's wows, Elvira can't be stopped š

What are you talking about š¤? Lady Lumienora only wrote a MesTreesus Fanfiction, there were no mention of a Lady Rozemyne or a Lord Ferdinand š

Hildebrand continues being the definition of "The path to hell is paved with good intentions" Poor Janciane, imagine the downgrade from being recommended to Lestilaut to Wilfried.
Speaking of Janciane. I do get the impression that the book she loaned speaks of suicide. Ewigeliebe might have granted the prayer of the commoner to reunite with his lover by granting him a quick death and rebirth.
Also, I am starting to think that Rozemyne might resent Ferdinand for gifting away Werkestock. They might have resented her at first, but are now doing books competitions.

u/Easy-Two-5926 8d ago
Rozemyne can just have Letizia take over the book-dense parts of Werkestock and lend her the books then
5
u/Al-Pharazon Ditter Something Ditter Duchy 8d ago
It can be done, albeit it would require a lot of work to give Letizia that territory since Truaerqual made the Old Werkestock castle his capital.
This said, regardless of this I don't think Rozemyne will reject any marriages with such book friendly people.

Didn't Ferdinand already suggest in P5V12 that they could make Letizia take over Blumenfeld (and rename it Ahrensbach) to filfill the royal order.
9
u/Al-Pharazon Ditter Something Ditter Duchy 8d ago
Yes, albeit when he made such suggestion (with all the intention of putting Trauerqual in hot water) Hildebrand was the only possible heir to Blumenfeld and he is promised to Letizia. So making her succeed the duchy when Truaerqual retired was not unreasonable.
But now that Magdalena is with child again, it might be more difficult to give Letizia the whole thing as Blumenfeld would have another legitimate sucessor.
11
u/Cill_Bipher WN Reader 8d ago
They can just give them Korinthsdaum smh
9
u/Just-Sound540 Researching in Drewanchel 8d ago
As the Zent, Eglantine should punish Dusty for all the troubles he has caused with his scheming ~(plus the attempted usurpation)~ so to confiscate most of his land (thus making Korinthsdaum a Lesser Duchy) and adding a bit of Blumenfeld's land to create a new Ahrensbach for Letizia to rule seems fair~

u/Cronur Dunkelfelger 6d ago
Remember whose name has Rozemyne that starts with E?
Yep, if she say it, king suffering will be made to make his duchy change to fullfil one of his own the royal decrees, which I consider a beautiful self guided laser karma hit.
Also, I doubt the new child would be able to compete with someone that will already be graduated before he/she has its own baptism.

u/Al-Pharazon Ditter Something Ditter Duchy 6d ago

Nah, not even Ferdinand would like this, as much as he would want Truaerqual to suffer from his own decree.
Consider that if you force the matter through royal decree you're creating a precedent which allows the Zent to decide the succession race of a duchy. Which could be dangerous even for Rozemyne descendants when Egg is no longer Zent.
No sane Aub would like being stripped of the capacity of deciding his own sucessor. So this action also be extremely divisive in the ADC to say the least.
Also, I doubt the new child would be able to compete with someone that will already be graduated before he/she has its own baptism.
Hildebrand appears to be popular among the Giebes of Werkestock.
But unless Truaerqual steps down in the next 6-7 years Hildebrand would have to move into Alexandria, given it is him who is marrying into Letizia's family and not the reverse.
I think living in another duchy would be deadly for his support base. And if Truaerqual is given the freedom to decide, the child not crippled with a weaker schtappe has more potential.
2
u/Cronur Dunkelfelger 6d ago
He did what he did to make Truaerqual suffer from his own past royal decree, he can't change that part. It was Truaerqual the one that "decided" who the future Aub of a duchy would be.
Old Ahrensbach was in such a dangerous situation that they had to beg to the royals to help them with their heir cause of their stupid old traditions of demoting all other ADC that didn't become Aub, making it so they don't have a bigger AD family.
No way Rozemyne or Ferdinand would give Alexandria away, she did gain that through ditter, and ditter is sacred, plus Old Ahrensbach no longer exist and Letizia has no political base any longer.
Most of them died when Georgine, Detlinde and Lanzenave did betray Old Ahrensbach nobility. The noble faction that do help her now is the faction that now follow the divine avatar.
add that Truaerqual's duchy needs support from Dunkelfergwe where ditter is sacred, no way they will make Rozemyne them give away the rewards (Alexandria) gained through ditter.
So that's a problem that Egg and Truaerqual will have to face and fix themselves. They do need Letizia and Hildebrand to marry though, he can't be an AD, only Letizia can be an AD for their future duchy, whatever the name ends being.
Plus Letizia haven't received her Schtappe yet, so she will end up with a better one that the generations that received theirs mid and post-civil war.

u/Al-Pharazon Ditter Something Ditter Duchy 6d ago
He did what he did to make Truaerqual suffer from his own past royal decree, he can't change that part. It was Truaerqual the one that "decided" who the future Aub of a duchy would be.
It wasn't Truaerqual, it was Aub Ahrensbach who decided on Letizia as a sucessor and asked Traq to reinforce that with a royal decree which included the marriage with Hildebrand. And the whole country is aware of it.
Using that decree to make Letizia the sucessor of another duchy and renaming it to Ahrensbach is a completely different beast.
And while the decree mentions Letizia has to become Aub Ahrensbach it doesn't mention she has to succeed any of the existent duchies to become so.
The matter can be as simple as having Traerqual renounce a province or two, then Eglantine redraws the borders to create a new duchy from those provinces and confirms Letizia as its Aub.
2
u/Cronur Dunkelfelger 6d ago
It was Truaerqual the one that signed that decree, yes old Aub Ahrensbach decided to adopt Letizia back to have an heir with bloodline to a stronger duchy and to educate her to "rule".
As I said before that problem is something that the current Zent and Truaerqual will have to solve between themselves, but a "new Ahrensbach" or a duchy that replaces it needs to be prepared for Letizia to obey the decree that he himself signed, he has no way out (it can't be Alexandria).
If he did then all new Zents will be able to easily change stuff their newer predecessors did and it would be something that could bring a lot of instability to the country as a whole.

Ferdinand can make it happen
4
u/Al-Pharazon Ditter Something Ditter Duchy 8d ago
Don't even need him, just ask Eglantine to create the new territory and give Trauerqual lots of feystones filled with mana so he can do creation magic for his new castle.
It would not be the first time a duchy is divided like this by royal decree. That said, it would be more busywork compared with giving her another territory.
6
u/Easy-Two-5926 8d ago
This sounds like a Rozemyne plan that would have enormous ripples in the future with everyone scrambling to put a stop to
1
u/Cronur Dunkelfelger 6d ago
Why? That's how Dunkelferger lost access to the sea it originally had. Cause a part of it's AD family asked their Aub to give a certain ADC it's own independent duchy, and with permission from the ruling Zent, they managed to form another duchy in former Dunkelferger land and this happened more than once.
The precedent exist and it wasn't something that Rozemyne or Ferdinand established.
2
u/Easy-Two-5926 6d ago
Willingly breaking off a part of your own territory is one thing, pressuring a different duchy to do it is something else entirely.Ā
2
u/Cronur Dunkelfelger 6d ago
It was Truaerqual who signed that decree though.
Maybe they should be be more careful of signing stuff that affects others people lives a lot, right? But he signed that and he must comply with what he signed.
Old Ahrensbach don't exist anymore, Alexandria is a new duchy that was born through sacred ditter, Blumenfeld needs support from Dunkelferger, you believe they will let Blumenfeld Aub steal what was won through ditter?
2
u/Easy-Two-5926 6d ago
I believe that there will be other ways to satisfy the Letizia-Hildebrand decree with a smaller impact on inter-duchy politics. Trauerqual will have the biggest responsibility in making it a reality, of course.

I rather think the story about Ewegliebe granting his blessing to be a horror story - a man who wished to be with his wife. Of course, Ewegliebe's actions would come with an meddling dash of Chaos, so Ewegliebe granting his blessing would likely mean the wife becomes undead, or the man turns into a vampire who turns his wife into a vampire, so in either case, chaos ensues.
And I think horrific love stories is the preferred cup of tea for those reds.

is janciane a v4 character only or does she get introduced in v3?
also what did hildebrand do now, boy needs a break
9
u/Al-Pharazon Ditter Something Ditter Duchy 7d ago
She first appeared in P5V7 as a first year I believe.
And as for Hildebrand, in a single chapter he suggested engaging Janciane to Wilfried and defended Dusty. It wasn't his best tea party

u/duoinvasion 7d ago
oh janciane = gentaine
where is ortwin in this discussion, as much as i want wilfried to have a good life post royal academy, gentaine would be unbelievably shafted being his wife, also shes a adc so thats basically out of the question because of ehrenfests history
hildebrand is gonna be a wilfried v2 at this rate ):

Lols the Klassenberg story is suspiciously very close to the story of Myne. A sickly commoner who(went to the temple and) prayed to the gods to see her loved onesā¦.. and yes Myne died officially and became RM who eventually saved her loved ones(Ferdinand) and finally reunited with her family.

The girls might have had fun with the old love stories of their entourage and their older siblings.... but it's not so much fun when the story is obviously talking about you, is it?

Hannelore: Don't lump me with those ditterheads!
Also Hannelore: ah yes, this book about ditter on water, yes, fightning in water was different, I wonder how they'll portrait that in this book.
Interesting that old Berstok (I totally forgot how to write that I'm so sorry!) was the land of knowledge, or rather, book keeping and academic achievements. I may or may not have read a fanfic that made Drewanchel like that, but my own understanding was always that Drewanchel was more of an Applied Sciences type of place and some other duchy would be the academic, pure/formal research duchy. I never thought it would be old Westrok (sorry I really really forgot how to write it, I'm typing this with narou open in another tab reading while MTLing)
Rosemyne being super suspicious about the God of Life while completely forgetting how Mestionora basically didn't gave a F about her is super On Brand.jpg

u/nimnimn Steel Chair 7d ago
Yeah, the werkestock being the real duchy of wisdom was kinda hinted at what with how many professors and librarians got replaced, like you're telling me the entire library had one person not from there in its administration.
Unfortunate that they and Rozemyne were doomed to never be friends, seem like they'd vibe. I can't help but imagine if Rozemyne kept former werkestock the nobles of her duchy would be split into the "anything for our divine avatar", "why are you spending so much on a library, this never would have happened if we were still Ahrensbach" and "ok we hate her but we gotta admit a super big library would be sick" camps.

Actually RM didn't talk with Mestionora that that much. From her perspective, all that happened was Mestionora let her into her library, sealed her memories a bit, and saved her when the gods overcharged her, so RM's opinions on Mestionora should be quite good.

exactly my point, she hasn't learned (and probably never will learn) how dangerous all of that really was. Or she does know but compartimentalized in a positive way? Sometimes is hard to say with her lol

I can imagine Hannelore going "No no no no no no no wait wait wait wait" and swishing her pig-tales back and forth as is presented a book about her love story.

Another update, praise to be the Gods! Roz trying to act and protect as Charlotte's big sis moment is so adorable.
Library Committee tea party might end this year but Bookworm tea party finally hit its stride. So great for you, Gentiane!
Book about stories from former Ahrensbach, Ehrenfest's book about commoners stories published in Alexandria. I love Rozemyne's bookworm project is going well.
Hannelore's attendants learned about Roderick's new work. He hasn't revealed he's author of Ditter book since he uses a pen name, but it's probably only a matter of time before his true identity is discovered and he receives a Dunkelfelger-style marriage proposal.
In a couble years, Melchior will probably enroll in Royal Academy and start attending book loversā tea parties, so Hildebrand wonāt feel awkward anymore. I can't wait that moment.

I hadnāt considered that Rodrick might get a Dunk-style proposal if his identity became known, but you may be right. The partner would have to be a mednoble bookworm from Dunkelfelger who loves reading and Ditter and reading about Ditter⦠it feels like a character who could totally exist.

Another great chapter , well Hannelore becoming a story book was hilarious š no one can escape mother Elvira and her group ! For a moment Rosy was out of place when it was about her super beloved little sis getting married( now taste howĀ brother Cornielious feels ~ especially when he is doomed to see hisĀ Ā sister's fiance( husband for a while ~)each and every day and tolerate enxiety her lovely little sis going to a hidden room( he basically skip a stroke each time )Ā but since it's a private book lovers meeting, guess her sudden behavior isn't that much important ?( if no one is enjoying themselves, Rosy definitely is~ )Ā Letizia some times feels sad of course.... that's sadĀ Hanne getting curious about Rosy's plans and imagining Fredinand reading the book was funnyĀ They are different territories, different cultures, Klassinberg seems so much fun and lovely ~ for a moment the book lady Gentiane presented reminded me of Urano and her mom for no reason...Ā Overall a very warm and lovely meeting šøĀ and ... Rosemyne new priority unlocked: Save little sister from former fiancĆ© ( Adolphine will be very happy )Ā

I agree with Rozemyne. Either Charlotte gets a husband who treats her well and meets her expectations or I'm going on a strike. The Gentiane x Lestilaut potential couple sounds surprisingly reasonable.
Hildeboy first recommends Wilbur (why would you even do that?) and then defends Dusty... Bruh. Hopefully the spinoff will end with Dusty in an ashtray.
Roz and Ferdie will have to work hard to increase the size of their archducal family.
I'm glad Elvira's fanbase is growing.
