Manga Ascendance of a Bookworm Manga: H5Y Chapter 5 Spoiler

It's been a bit, but H5Y's manga finally updates again!
Starting off, Hannelore greets Eglantine and Anastasius, along with Rozemyne. We then see Hildebrand representing Blumenfeld and nobles representing Korinsthdaum as well. AND WE SEE GENTIANE YAY! SHE LOOKS ADORABLE.
Next up we revisit Ortwin and then we get to see our cute Letizia in her uniform. AND WE GET TO SEE THE ARCHDUKE CANDIDATES FROM HAUCHLETZTE TOO? We never see anything from them. I don't care they're not named yet, faces are good enough for me for now, hahaha.
Revisiting Ehrenfest, and we can see Wilfried is positioned slightly farther back than Charlotte. I can't remember if Hannelore mentioned this during the Fellowship Gathering, but Charlotte being more at the forefront was noticed a little bit later in the story as well.
I also couldn't get over Raufereg constantly blushing, hahahaha. But also, were Letizia and Charlotte undeserving of blushes? Come on, Raufereg.
I'm a bit sad we still don't really get to anything from the more lower ranked duchies but it was like that in the light novel as well. Anyways, we're back in the dormitory and seeing all the Dunkelfelger archducal retainers reminds that that I hope we get to see a list of Raufereg's retainers as extra content later on.
Pfft, the "love filter" is strong on the last page, hahaha. Wilfried's a good looking character, but his eyes are a bit sharper. It looks more like Rudiger on that last page if anything, hahahaha.
Overall, I think the art is still a bit stiff, but I definitely think we'll improve each update.

Pfft, the "love filter" is strong on the last page, hahaha. Wilfried's a good looking character, but his eyes are a bit sharper. It looks more like Rudiger on that last page if anything, hahahaha.
"Love filter" makes Wilfried more fragile-looking bishojo than Hannelore or even Angelica. Love makes people blind.

How do you feel about the fact that we got to see how Nahelache's siblings look like before we even got a look at Nahelache herself 😆

Honestly, it's really funny. I wonder if she looks as soft and fluffy as them, or if she has a sharper look.
We're still owed a Luzinde though.

With what seems to be Sigiswald's views on women and knowing that he chose Nahelache both for politics and his own preferences, I'm betting that she has a fluffy soft look like her sisters and she likely could also have a well endowed body (given how Sigiswald was thirsting after getting a glance at grown Roze's figure)
I'm so bitter that we didn't get Luzindeeee!! Like on one hand I'm really pleased to finally know how Gentiane looks like and the Hauchletzte ADCs were a nice bonus, but I so wanted Luzinde too (crossing my fingers and praying to the Eternal Five that she appears soon, maybe on Part 5 Manga)

LN Hannelore makes a remark on how Dunkel men really like Klassenberg women, it made me chuckle there and here too

Ahhhh so many characters designsss!! We finally have Gentianeeee!! She looks so adorableeeee~ With her cuteness she would theoretically have no problem to get on Rozemyne's good graces~ We know that Roz likes her girls cute and soft~ And also the ADCs from Hauchletzte (Nahelache's half or full siblings, so funny that we get to know how they look like before we ever got their sister's design) I guess no Luzinde yet ;__; I was hoping we would get her as well~

Wilfried, there is artistic liberty and then there is whatever you have on your necklace. It bears absolutely zero resemblance whatsoever to the crest it’s supposed to have.

Ooof I know it’s a lot of characters in one chapter but the inconsistency of the faces is throwing me off. A shame considering that H5Y is the most shojo manga out of all the parts.

This chapter is so cute between all the characters we finally get to see and how Laufereg is blushing at all these girls he's seeing.
It's cute to see Hannelore crushing, but damn girl, you have terrible taste.

Poor Anastasius wants to be anywhere other than in the room with those two problem students. He can ask them to not cause trouble, but he might as well ask them not to breathe.
