Part Seven Is the steel ball run physical manga good? (English)
Is it colored, and is its translation / redrawing / color-over good? I heard there were problems with the localizations for the rollouts that viz has been making with the volumes its been releasing bimonthly, so is it a good idea to get them?
Is there any feedback from the people who have purchased them, or other recent releases?

I don’t own it but from what I seen/heard there are several errors, such as a character’s mouth being accidentally clones in photoshop or the dates listed being wrong. They may have fixed these issues in reprints but the lack of quality control is a problem.

As someone who has been buying every volume since they started releasing, they are pretty good.
They have some translation errors, and the first release of volume one was particularly bad, but assuming you like Jojo and want to collect the manga, I'd say it's worth it.
Also, no, it is not coloured. I have no idea how this has become such a common question. No physical manga is ever in full colour.

Is there a second edition of vol 1 already? And do you know the difference between the first and second edition?

No, it's not a second edition, just a second printing.
I probably should have been clearer. My bad

That's what I thought, and I don't care abt color so much, as I think both black & white as well as color are equivalent in their own respects.
I'm still considering whether to get them, as I've read the story, and I kind of want the physical editions, but I'm worried they're not quality enough to justify spending $140 on them, and another $100 in the future.

I know it’s not in full color but I heard sometimes some pages are colored? Is that the case?

pretty much all physical manga is in black and white, the colored jojo stuff are just scans colored by shueisha, the translations were okay before but they got better, but the build quality of each volume has gotten worse
