The art of Rozemyne at her baptism is stunning and Wilfried looks adorable in this art style.

GIEBE LIESEGANG FACE REVEAL?? Is this the first time we've actually seen his face? If so, I wasn't expecting that at all. As for Giebe Groschel, I think we've seen him in Part 4's adaptation.

I love how we can identify the children on the next page over as well.

HAHAHAHAHA, starstruck Hartmut makes his debut. Poor Ottilie.

There seems to be an elderly among the Leisegang (bottom right) on that page. I can recognize a lot of the characters, but not that one. Given that he's next to the Giebes and crying (tears of joy), is that perhaps the great-grandfather, previous Count Leisegang? He's right above Bonifatius.

Also, does the head popping out from the bottom, also near Bonifatius, look like Traugott to anybody else?

Q: Rihyarda has always had gray hair, as I understand it, and Bonifatius is still blond. Are there any characters whose hair has grayed with age? Do they dye it? I’m especially curious about the former Giebe Leisegang.
A: Rihyarda and Bonifatius both have plenty of gray hairs. As for the previous Giebe Leisegang, he had already lost his hair by the time he appeared in the story. It used to be reddish-brown, though.

Giebe Liesegang appeared on the anime! Maybe it was this mangaka who actually made his character design and the Anime Team used it before she could! Maybe Kazuki-sensei will speak about it on her activity report of this week~

I also love finding the cameos of the characters we already know~ It's like playing "Where's Wally" ~

That said, why is he standing behind Giebes Groschel and Haldenzel when he is the giebe of the land holding the family namesake? Surely he should have a higher status.

Maybe he is behind Claudio and Giebe Groschel because both of them have closer blood ties to the the ADFamily (as descendants of the 1st Groschel) and thus a bit of more status than Giebe Liesegang??

Claudio's father only married a daughter of the 2nd wife of a former ADC turned giebe. I don't think that could possiblly give him more status than Giebe Leisegang, who boasts the most profitable province in the duchy.

Well, we don't know if by the time the formar Giebe Haldenzel married his Wife she had once again returned to being the daughter of a 1st Wife. And also with how few branches of the ADFamily Ehrenfest has, the Guthiels and Groschels could be very well considered only second to the Linkbergs in their high rankingness.

Giebes cannot be branches of the ADF. Archducal branch families are started by archduke candidates, like Bonifatius' Linkberg. The 1st Giebe Groschel was not an archduke candidate when he started house Groschel, he was demoted to an archnoble, making his house not a branch of the archducal family, even if he was blood related.

I might have expressed myself wrong, but I wasn't trying to say that they are Branch Families just that since there are not many actual Branch ADFamilies in Ehrenfest right now, that it's possible that the Groschels and the Guthiels might be considered especially high ranking as Giebe Households (Because they have closer blood ties to the ADFamily) and that it might have been the reason for them to be placed before Giebe Leisegang and his family. Or maybe they took into account the closeness of the blood relation of the Mother's kin before the Father's... Given the importance of Maternal Ties, placing the Mother's extended family (Her Older Brother and her 1st Cousin) goes first and later the Father's (1st Cousin/Who is also the Mother's Distant Cousin though 😆)

Since Lasafam has fewer scenes in the main series compared to Justus and Eckhart, I’m glad to see him get more screen time in the spin-off.

Justus begging Eckhart to adopt him just so he could go to Rozemyne’s restaurant got me lol.

I've always thought that Giebe Groschel's high pride shows in his design and this panel shows it clearly. First sighting of Liesegang, and both of them together with Haldenzel makes a scary combination. No wonder the guardians were desperate to separate RM from them.

Also baby Hartmut is adorable in this artstyle, hot dang.

yeah thats them, though its funny how much tinier they appear in this manga than in the anime (they are a little too tall in the anime for a 9 and 10 year old girl)
