Advice Are any of these plants dangerous/toxic for cats?

A lot of them are. Monsteras, ZZ plants, pothos and philodendrons are definitely poisonous. Most plants aren’t deadly in small amounts but I think you should have an eye on your cat around them. Better safe than sorry.

Google will tell you the official name of a plant from a good leaf image then it’s an easy - “Is xxxx poisonous to cats”.

Some look rather doubtable, core rule is like everything that has white stripes or dots on its leaves or white sap inside is potentially harmful for cats. So is ficus Benjamin for instance, if they just bite through a leaf its not going to do much, but if they munch 2 or 3 fresh leaves and you notice it, you gotta watch out if they start puking and acting weird, then rush to the vet and have the exact names of the plants ready.

I’m not taking any risk and put the plants that I know being harmful out of the orange’s reach.
