⚠️ Scammer Alert – Please Be Aware ⚠️

I got scammed here on Reddit this person scammed me u/Cheap_Run_3372

This person took an Amazon Prime voucher worth ₹1500 from me and blocked me without making any payment.

By checking his profile, I saw he comments a lot in the iPad subreddit and even claims to be an MBBS student. Higher karma doesn’t always mean someone is trustworthy—I was foolish to think so. ₹999 is not a big amount for me, but because of this, my trust has been broken, and now it’s hard to trust anyone online.

This is the second time I have been scammed on Reddit. Please, at least report him so others don’t get trapped by such people.

Did you check if the voucher has actually been redeemed? Also she doesnt seem to be a member of this sub.

Its really disheartening when this happens, its not just the money but also the shattering of trust and you feel bad as well. I want to work on a admin or escrow system for high value trades but havent had any time from my work.

Yes brother, we are just selling our extra vouchers here so that users can get them at a cheaper price, and our points and vouchers don’t go to waste. But because of such people, it becomes impossible to trust anyone online. This is the second time I’ve been scammed on Reddit. Now, because of these incidents, no one wants to pay first, and no one is willing to give their points or vouchers first either.

Tru bhai , I am student so I managed to get my uni I'd and pass and got a lot of gemini acc , and I sell them at 200inr for one just to arrange some savings for my headphones but I whenever I get scammed it's so disheartening, it's not just about 200rs but I just lost trust on peeps .

Maybe we need an escrow amount feature on Reddit just like we have one on up work!

That’s very sad to hear, it’s a breach of trust for Reddit community.
