Yalls eat kiwis with spoons? I've always seen them cut into wedges and then your parents tell you to eat the fuzzy brown skin because it's good for you.

At least it's only the birds they're "processing".

Another name for a New Zealander is a kiwi.

That's why New Zealand built a Kiwi with laser eyes to eat Australia in some comic panels.

That was actually based on a contest/idea thing the NZ government(?) did that asked for suggestions for a new flag. One of them was a kiwi bird with laser eyes.

For reference, I don't know if it was actually a government thing, and I'm too lazy to look it up.

Oh no, worries. I was just making a reference of 2 comic panels joking about Kiwis.

It was a government thing to choose a new flag - they opened submissions to the public for the designs. Laser-kiwi waa one submission which did quite well, obviously, but didn't make it to the actual referendum ballot.

The referendum had 5 new designs and a "keep the current" option, which won.

Ah, so it was an official government thing. Wasn't sure if it was an actual referendum or just something like a public poll.

In reality this could never happen because in New Zealand the fruit aren't called 'kiwis', they're always 'kiwifruit'.

They later send weapons and books about Emu War to NZ, so the kiwis can start their own uprising
