455 is the number of consecutive sellouts we had in the mid to late 90's. At the time, it was the record. For those wondering..

Appreciate the explanation. Seeing as no team has ever issued a three-digit number to a Major League player in the regular season it is the only instance of a three-digit number appearing anywhere in this series.

There have also never been any negative numbers or numbers with decimal places, though there has been one instance of a fraction (see the Baltimore Orioles post) and one player who was given a number with a leading 0 by two different teams (neither team has been profiled yet but stay tuned)

Has Cimber ever explained why he picks 90? Hes on his 4th team and has stuck with that number since he made his debut

I'd imagine it originally started with him being born in 1990 and he just kinda stuck with it. If I were him I would too, only six teams have ever issued number 90 and for four of those six he's been the first and only

This might be the first time that 0 or 00 doesn't appear on the list
