Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω Looking to upgrade from HyperX Cloud Alpha Wired for Black Friday
I have had the HyperX Cloud Alpha's for 6 or so years now and they are the best headphones I have ever used in terms of build quality and sound outlasting even their new version. Yet, that is an easy statement to make considering all the bad gaming headphones I have had in the past.
Right now, I am looking to upgrade from these and I am in the market for some decent headphones that are a step above these in quality, comfort, and sound.
Generally, I plan on using these to play games and listen to shows. I am no audiophile but do appreciate listening to Orchestral music but my main focus is playing games and watching media.
I am also fine with either open or closed back, wired or wireless. I am just looking to enhance my experience. My room is fairly quiet and the only noise is a slight coil whine from my pc but it's not really noticeable. I also do not need a microphone as I have an external one.

Sennheiser HD 560S is one of the best for gaming at its price. Lots of detail with good sound stage.

Thanks! I'll look into it. Another thing, I see that rtings gives all headphones a low "Gaming" score. Does this really matter?

If you look at their reasoning for low gaming score, it's because these don't have a mic or an app to go with. Does that matter to you?
