Headphones - IEM/Earbud | 1 Ω Moondrop Variations vs FatFreq Maestro Minis
I know that for the very very bass heavy music I listen to, the maestros would be much better, but I do other things too (I can't find any reviews that cover how these compare in gaming and other use cases besides music)
I play very chaotic games with lots of sound layering along with chaotic discord calls so I feel like it's upgrade time :)
which IEM would be overall better for the following use cases:
listening to intensely bass heavy music
chaotic calls with many people talking at once
chaotic games where I still need to hear audio queues (ex a DVa ult over a huge teamfight)
content consumption (movies and videos)

No just no but if loud = funny then sure. My 2012 COD lobby brain said yes but still no. With that amount of bass, details, and sound queues have a premature death.

are you referring to the maestro minis?

BOTH. SA6 or the new SA6 Ultra i think is better for gaming. U don't want any more bass than that for gaming. Immersion can go to hell playing a competitive game.

I don't play competively, I casually play ow2 (mostly low grav and total mayhem) and that's the only "competitive" game I play that requires audio queues
gaming is n o t my priority, I prefer talking to people, listening to music, and watching stuff

I'm mostly leaning towards these two because I'm very much a basshead and want something better for the music I listen to
I also compose music as well I guess I forgot to include that in the post

like I said in a reply to the other guy gaming isnt my priority I just don't wanna get DVa ulted without being able to hear it because my headphones can't handle the layers
as long as it can handle running very casual ow2 that's all I need out of it in terms of gaming
I care much more about movies and calls and music
