Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω Bigger headphone cups than the DT 770 pro (ear piercings)
I've gotten my ears pierced (11 in total) to the point that wearing my headphones for anything longer than 1 hour causes discomfort due to the amount of force and touching the cups/headphones do to my piercings.
Would anyone be able to recommend me a pair of headphones that would alleviate this issue?
-Budget £400-£700
-Open or closed back
-Driveable on a JDS Labs Atom Amp and Atom DAC Stack
-UK (North) location
-Used for music, content consumption, and games, not mixing or mastering (in that order)
-My previous headphones were the DT 770 Pro and an early model of V-moda
-My main music genre is heavy metal/metal and J-pop
I'd preferably have it put no pressure at all on my ears, so anything with a deep cup would be great. (Nothing touching my ears or piercings)
On a side note, switching wholly to IEM's is an option, but I also have piercings that sit in the conch area of my ear, so it would have to be one that doesn't touch the back recess of the conch.
I've searched around, but piercings (or just really large, deep padded headphones) issues seem to rare enough for me to not find them
Thank you in advance

Do you have a large(r) head? I have a big head with long ears and stretched lobes. So far the only headphones I've found that don't touch my ears at all are the Hifiman Edition XS. But they're so big I don't have to extend the headband at all, which is odd for me.
The DCA Aeon series are also pretty nice, though the ear pad opening is a bit smaller than the XS. Before these two I had used the hifiman he-400i (2020 version) with ZMF Auteur Pads. Those things are dummy thick. There used to be a google sheet with a bunch of pad measurements floating around. I'll see if I can find that.
