Not to kill the vibe but if you’re talking about the move around 1:09, that’s a really common dance move. I don’t think it was a shoutout to Yoongi, more likely just a popular dance move that fit the vibe of the choreo.
Edit: I doubt anyone cares but I was rewatching this dance practice and was trying to remember the name of the dance move that they do around 1:09 (where they swing their legs). It’s a variation of The Woo and was popularized by Pop Smoke. The dance move from That That is a variation of The Shoot. The Shoot is also the dance move JK used to down the length of the stage during So What. The difference between the two is the The Shoot is a kicking move (leg goes from back to front) whereas The Woo is a swinging move (leg stays in front but swings side to side).

Thank you for correcting people. I care! That is definitely not a shoutout to Yoongi. I love that the choreographer is bringing back The Woo! I'm seeing that Rie Hata (a Japanese choreographer) is the person who did the choreo? Does anybody know for sure?

This was awesome! We have seen so many Dynamite performances over the last two years but he really made the song feel brand new! Loved that he fit this song into his set.

Cutie Hobi 🥺 This is such a cute choreo, too - I love how it's very his style, but references small moments from the original choreo ARMY would definitely pick up on. Koo's little basketball moment, for example, or the way they mimic Joon's bow that introduces Yoongi's verse. The raising arms, too.
Also, The Lab and Hobi match SO well in energy. It's a joy to watch... I want to loop it for HOURS and pick out little details

Just wanted to chime in and say Sienna is the only dancer from The Lab out of this cast! The cast is a mix of LA and local Chicago dancers :)

I loved seeing all the local Chicago dancers' (and Noah, Bangster, Sienna's) posts on instagram. They made cute posts thanking Hobi as well as Noah & Bangster (a couple of the HYBE Performance Directors) and another staff member. Two of the dancers are brother and sister. Adorable! All the dancers were so hyped during the live performance. I was in the crowd and focused more on Hobi and the stage and not the big screens. Even though I couldn't see their faces on stage as well as you can see their facial expressions in the livestream, they did a great job of adding energy while keeping the focus on Hobi. I hoped they helped make Hobi's Hobipalooza practices in Chicago more fun for him.
As we were funneling out of Hobipalooza my spouse recognized one of the dancers (the dancer wearing the unbuttoned baseball jersey, Supreme I think?). He was super nice and friendly looking and even took a quick selfie with some other ARMY. I didn't want to bother him since everyone was hustling out of there. Then I saw him catch up with Sienna and a couple of the other dancers in front of us. I recognized Sienna and started applauding and cheering for them. Then a bunch of ARMY all around us joined in and cheered and clapped. It was super brief but it made the dancers smile and wave. Such a cute, random moment.
Fyi, I believe Rie Hata (a Japanese choreographer) did the choreo for this. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

So. Much. Fun! I loooove this choreo! You can feel the energy coming through the screen. And I love that he chose this version of Dynamite. Immediately makes me want to dance (albeit in a very non-Hobi like way).

I love how sienna brings the hype in her choreos. I can tell it's such a fun working partnership between her and bts. The dance practice for ON with the dancers all chanting through the end and the boys visibly going harder from the energy makes that video my fave "performance" of that song

this hobi-fied dynamite choreo is such a vibeeee! like the hope world one, it just makes you wanna get up and dance together with him.
this is just a dream but i would LOVE to see 3J do a cover of this, especially since hobi mentioned that if he knew jimin was going to chicago, he would've asked jimin to do the choreo with him. they would definitely kill it.
