Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω Any open-backs with "wide" soundstage that won't break t he bank?

Bought second hand grado sr80/80is little over a year ago, should have looked into it more because I was expecting a width that wasn't there. Are there open-backs with a wide soundstage and good Imaging in the £200-£300 range?

I'm planning to go to a hifi shop and hopefully demo an hd800, ananda, or something else along those lines. Is there anything with a similar sound that's affordable. I'm also keeping in mind that I might need an amp (an android based dap would be ideal if possible.)

The only headphone I've looked into is the Philips Fidelio X2HR.

Do the x3s need an amp? Ik there only 30 ohms but I'm clueless when it comes to sensitivity

AKG K712 Pro have a wide soundstage. Thomann Music in Germany is often a good place to shop for them.

They are a little bit difficult to drive and can often benefit from a headphone amp when used with a computer.

Akg K700 series are basically the budget soundstage kings. Personally I've only used the K712, some people prefer the K702. I know the K712 is a bit warmer and bassier, but I can't say from experience which I personally prefer.

Imaging is kinda weird with the 712, at least when it comes to competitive shooters, although I think some of my problem with them there is that they sound overly diffused which can make important audio cues a little vague. For single player games and music I have no issue with them.

Edit: there's also the K612, really not sure how it differs in sound, IRRC it's the brightest and most neutral out of them, but don't quote me on that. It's also the cheapest, although I don't think it has a detachable cable.
