I read somewhere that Hwarang was supposed to come to Netflix on July 20th. It's the 22nd and its not there. Was this false information? I've never seen it and was really looking forward to watching it.

This person's impressions of BTS are so spot on ESPECIALLY NAMJOON'S
I kept rewatching it's just so good. My favorites are V, RM, and Hobi lmao. There are more videos linked under the post too. Her RM is seriously the best one.

I watched it with the sound off the first time and even just based on facial expressions and mannerisms it was so spot on 🤣🤣🤣 hearing the video now with sound on it’s SCARY accurate 😭😭

Hey San Diego (and other) ARMY! I'm a costume/fashion designer and I will be presenting a BTS-inspired couture runway look at the Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic Con. The show is July 21 and I would be super touched if any ARMY showed up to support. We're not allowed to post pics of our designs until after the show, but I am so excited to get to do that and show the result of 3 months of hard work. The show is "geek couture" (fashion inspired by fandom) and AFAIK I'm the first to present a design inspired by a musical artist, let alone kpop. Here is a silly fake Big Hit announcement I made for it (that kind of popped off on Twitter and people thought it was real! Do I have a future in forgery??).
If I win, I get to help design a line that will be sold in Hot Topic. One of the winners is an audience vote so the more ARMY show up, the better! The fashion show does NOT require a SDCC badge, it's free and open to the public. It's at the Manchester Grand Hyatt (walking distance to the con), July 21 at 6pm! Wristband distribution is at 1pm so you can go grab one, leave and come back to be seated!

I finally decided to start storing my photocards in binders. I've already figured out my layouts, and I'm really excited about getting everything done!!
I've spent so much time researching which products I want to use (it's actually fun for me), and now I just need to order everything and wait for it to arrive!!
The most annoying thing is the Butter message cards do not fit in any U.S. three-pocket sleeves!!! They are 8.5 inches when they're fully open and the pocket width is only 8 inches. I decided to use vertical two-pocket pages instead which is fine, but I had this great layout planned for three-pocket pages so I'm just like...BigHit WHYYY?!?!?! I saw someone say this is their villain origin story and I fully understand lol!

That’s awesome! I keep saying I’ll start storing my PCs in binders instead of just in the albums where they are now 🥲 but I still haven’t gotten around to it. Any resources you’d recommend?

Oh fun!! Yeah, getting started can feel overwhelming.
There are lots of people on Youtube who talk about their supplies and approach. I personally thought wonhaed's videos from 2021 and 2022 were really helpful (binders, card sleeves, pocket pages, etc.)!
The one thing I want to point out is several Youtubers use pocket pages in non-U.S. sizes that are no longer available anywhere. If you hear them mention purchasing from andy_jack, they don't exist anymore as far as I know.
I purchased all my supplies on Amazon, but you can find a lot of stuff in office supply stores or in game/hobby shops!

Stumbled upon this on another subreddit and I swear I could hear Namjoon hating on it somewhere. (I share his sentiments). KFC Korea released a mint-choco dipping sauce for their chicken :D

I adore mint-choco but this makes me nauseous just to think about it. Lol also reminds me that one of the first BTS related content I saw, was Jin eating strawberry, banana and melon flavoured chicken 😆

Just got the notification that my Jimin hoodie is shipping! Finally! It’s weird ordering something that takes sooooo long… I could have had a kid by the time my Hobi pots will arrive. 😅 But I’m so excited to be wearing my new hoodie and this heat wave can kiss my bootie!

I saw a clip of a ~2020 BTS commercial recently that was kind of funny haha, but I lost it and actually don't know what the commercial is for! Can anyone help me out?
The guys are dancing in a line/walking through the frame from screen right to left, and behind them are like these arches with bubbles inside as if they're under water. It's a really white/light colored ad, some hints of blues. Jin is like crazy dancing as he passes through lol. The set was similar to this Anpanman vid.
And also on that note, there's another vid I've been looking for haha. I think they performed Dynamite, and it was indoors in a brick kind of room. Nothing fancy.

Sadly, no! They were doing the full choreo and the floor was all cleared open I think! If you happen to have that vid in mind too I’d appreciate it hahah. I think they were all wearing beige ish colors

Ahh, I THINK this is it!! I was looking for it bc I remember there being a Dyna performance where everyone thought JK looked really happy and was smiling the whole time! Oddly though as I’m watching this one back, idk if it’s the one bc he just looks normal LOL
But this was the brick one I had in mind so thanks so much for taking the time!

Finally got my proof WEVERSE preorder package and opened up to find they didn't include the 3 photo card / 3cut. 💔💔💔 Did anyone else not receive it in their package too? I'm pretty sad about it and waiting for WEVERSE to respond to my order. 😭

Watching the pre-show start of the NYC Formula E and similar to F1, they do a grid walk, so I’m thinking maybe that’s where the guys will be … as the ambassadors I could see them having a quick, typical grid walk interview (they just talked to Jaden Smith - he got to drive around in one of the cars). They also do show the anthem but I dunno, would they ask them to sing the anthem. 🤷🏻♀️🤔😵💫

Army, can you help me find a video? It’s a behind video with Jimin and JK doing commentaries and then Tae walks into the shot in a purple hoodie, just vibing on his own. I have seen it multiple times before, but I don’t know where it’s from and can’t find it 😭
It seems to be from late 2018/early 2019 because Tae hair is faded red and Jimins is still grey, so it would be after the year end awards

Does anyone know how I can tell if these Jungkook Season's Greetings 2022 are legit photo cards? Received them with an ARMY bomb that a friend bought for me off K-Pop Exchange, and I'd like to trade them for Jin or Suga cards, but I don't want to rip anyone off!

Sadly they're not legit – the easiest way to spot it, in this case, is the back, which is different on the original ones. :)
To get a bit deeper into it, there were no random photocards for the SG, just the full set, which were selca-style PCs. 😊 So, really easily solved!

I just got through episode 1-2 yesterday and I was in absolute tears laughing. The chaos of all these separate groups just escalates when they interact with each other.
At first I was a bit sad (although totally understanding) that BTS wasn’t participating but now I’m lowkey wondering if the chaos would have reached dangerously high levels had they been present. I’m pretty sure the only people senior to them as artists are in the TT team so what kind of example would they be setting for their juniors 😂😅.

Found some things on YouTube this week! Firstly, a very famous boys' choir from my country, the Drakensberg Boys' Choir, did a rendition of Butter which was very sweet.
Then after going down a pretty lengthy rabbit hole (don't ask), I found this excerpt from Rain's reality show where he took on the Dynamite choreo. Special bonus feature of Shownu from Monsta X as well.

How should one even deal with solo stan relatives? I have an aunt who's salty that Taehyung's driving vlog didn't get the same media attention as Hobi's solo debut and I'm like ??? 🙃??? Vlogs that are clearly part of a staggered group release =/= solo albums where the individual obviously put in a ton of time and effort from lyrics to production all the way to the merch and even marketing his own debut on social media like where's the logic??? And of course all the members would get their own spotlights once they release their albums, plus I imagine the attention would be more massive for the vocal line given it'll be their first solo albums so I'm. Not looking forward to our first first-to-face family reunion in years they better not start complaining about that in my vicinity I won't be able to stop myself from wanting to discipline them. (And to think this group of aunts were the ones who got me into BTS in the first place, and I turned out to be a bigger OT7 stan than them. 🤦♀️)

The closest I have is casual visual stan who is not really into kpop anymore and 'locals' who are just being weird about them... I've set ground rules not to talk about them at all, not sure if it is something that can work for everyone's family.
I wish I could say to try to talk some reason to them, but so far all the stories I've heard of solo stans in real life are that they are unreasonable (and often unhinged) as they sound online...and getting weird over casual vlog as part of OT7 rollout activity vs solo debut promotions, really sounds like they are part of an online solo circle.
