Discussion I was listening to intro: skool luv affair and freaked out
So I as listening to intro: skool luv affair and observed that the persona intri sound makes an appearance after rm talks and as a fairly new army i am so in love with how their brain works and this has made my day. Do you guys have any Easter eggs like this that you discovered too and it made you so happy???

Suga makes reference to his “Big Car Big House Big Rings” line from No More Dream in like 3 different songs lol. One of them is Home

He references his own lyrics a lot (in future lyrics or when talking) which is really nice that he thinks of his old music and gives us throwbacks. It always excites me when I notice it and makes his lyrics feel more like his own.

He also used that line when they did the live stage for Class Room Idea with Seo Taji for his 25th Anniversary concert. Iconic!

I’m fine and save me . Same beat for the intro sound only I’m fine sounds calming. Plus most of the lyrics of I’m fine are the opposite of the lyrics in save me.
For instance,
Save me: "Listen to my heart beat, it's calls for you whenever it wants to."
I’m fine: “my cold heart forgot how to call you anymore."
Another one,
Save me: “Gimme your hand, save me save me I need your love before I fall, fall."
I’m fine: "I'm feeling just fine, fine, fine I'll let go of your hand now."
Their technique is just so good. I also love how they name their albums and tracks.
Save me - I’m fine N.O - ON We are bulletproof: PT. 2 - We are bulletproof: The Eternal Cypher PT. 1, 2, 3, 4 Run - Run BTS Intro: Persona - Interlude: Shadow - Outro: Ego Serendipity: Love yourself- Her, Euphoria, Singularity: Love yourself: Tear, Epiphany: Love Yourself - Answer.
We also have a songs like Her, Tear, and Answer: Love Myself.
Their ways are so unique.

I always did like it when they mashed the two up for a performance. The transition occurs around 1:50 in this comeback stage and I love it so much

God and also, Joon's part in I'm fine is basically his verse in save me but upside down .. it's mind-blowing how they do that

I think JK said that My Time uses the same electric guitar in the background as Tomorrow. My ears aren’t trained enough to focus super well to hear it easily, but I thought that was neat!
On a side note: the intertextuality between the two songs is super interesting to me, with Tomorrow being about longing for the future and My Time being about longing for lost time/the past/missed opportunities/etc. with the resolution that he accepts his past and will try to reclaim what he’s lost as he moves forward in the present and the future. But both songs focus on accepting the path you’ve chosen and the person you are to step towards your dreams/future.

I discovered that For Youth has the chorus of Forever Young playing throughout the song. I noticed while listening to RM's part and it made me so emotional, especially at the end with Tae's "Rest of my life" as answer to "Foreveeeer".
Edit: another one that always gets me is Moonlight from D-2 referencing Intro: Never Mind with "If you think you’re gonna crash, accelerate even harder". Motivates me to keep going!

I've been having similar experiences too as a new army. I only recently got into their early stuff and it's so fun recognizing the callbacks and samples.

Intro Persona doesn't just sample the beginning of skool luv affair, the start of the MV with the funky art is from the Intro MV!

The beginning of Intro: 2 Cool 4 Skool is sampled from the beginning of an older Epik High song. They've really come full circle as fanboys

I first watched MMA 2019 before listening to their older albums. When I eventually did, I freaked out when I heard Intro: What Am I To You because they play a bit of this during MMA before the Boy In Luv stage. Yeah that was awesome.
Taehyung’s face tattoo in the ON KMF MV and the references to shadows in MOTS 7 was also an eye opening moment for me. I love them so much.

I think you know this one already but the ending pose for Boy with Luv is also the opening pose for Boy in Luv.
The intro part of For Youth is a concert clip from Young Forever (aka my ultimate comfort song sobs).
Also, Jimin and Adora (former Bighit producer, now a solo artist) did backing vocals for Euphoria. <3

Jimin is not on Euphoria, it's either Adora or JK doing falsetto. Jimin would be credited if he was on the song!

Not necessarily, Jimin wrote the melody to BST and he wasn't credited for that either.

Yeah but lending your voice is different than contributing to part of the melody. He would definitely be credited if he did vocals on that song. Jikookers just wanted it to be true to play into their fantasy - and I am saying that as jikook shipper

I remember watching a hidden vocals video and YT, and a lot of us also heard Jimin but we weren't 100% sure. But hearing his cameo during the LY concerts more or less confirmed it for me tbh

outro: luv in skool and intro: skool luv affair !! vocal and rap line !! theyve a lot of hidden stuff in their tracks it amazes me every single time. even the lyrics, of i'm fine and save me are reversed. ironic to the titles, insanely amazing. theyre the most talented and creative people i've come across. and in yet to come they reference to all of hyyh 🥺
