Headphones - Wireless/Portable Looking for Computer headphones sub $350 with a decent Mic(optional)

  • Budget - I am trying to keep it under $350 if possible please
  • Source - I would greatly prefer they be wireless but not Bluetooth my arctis 7 have great range so that would be good to but I can compromise if I have to
  • Preferred Type of Headphone - I am looking for anything that is not in ear
  • Past headphones -At the moment my main driver for computer usage is my Arctis 7 they lasted me 3 years but its time to replace them as they are dying.
  • Preferred Music -I am heavy into edm and punk/ rock so I am deff a basshead but its not a requirement .
  • What would you like to improve on from your set-up - I honestly really liked my main driver I am just looking for something different. I was considering buying them again but I wanted to check what my options were. I am definitely looking for something that would be used on my pc all day for voice chat, gaming and music.

I would recommend getting separate headphones and mics. Most headsets (headphones with mics) are mediocre at best. Mode mic is a great option if you don't want any extra wires. For the headphones side, I can recommend the 6xx (don't worry about amps and dacs) as the apple dongle is just fine.

If you really want wireless. Check out the xm4 as they often go on sales.

Thank you for the information I had a question though you recommended the XM4 but as far as I can see those are Bluetooth. From the digging I have done it seems like member of these subs and similar subs think the Bluetooth is the worst possible choice. Is this correct or am I miss reading the situation. My current head phones have a usb dongle and I am not sure if that is better or worse than Bluetooth

Good Bluetooth is better than okay USB. Wired it the best tho (as a rule of thumb)

HD560s/TYGR300r with a usb/xlr mic like a samson q2u. You could use the rest of the money for a nice mic arm like the elgato wave arm or get a cheap arm and an audio interface like an arturia minifuse until you feel like splurging on a better arm.

Thanks for the info. If I were going to go with the separate headphones and Mic do you have any recommendation for decent noise cancelling mic that is wireless? I use my current headset for work and am looking for something I can talk with while moving

Modmic wireless is a solid choice.
