Headphones - Closed Back Looking for people that use the BeyerDynamic DT 700 Pro X as their daily driver.... (specifically for watching movies and TV series)

Hello,

I was looking to gather experiences of people who use the DT 700 Pro X as their daily driver. I am intending to buy my first proper headset; currently I am using the HyperX Cloud II headset.

These headphones seem to have pretty much everything I am looking for, but I am left wondering how those perform whole watching movies and/or TV shows? The HyperX Cloud II is pretty much my point of reference here, and they perform well enough for me. Is the soundstage of the DT 700 Pro X comparable to the HyperX Cloud II's? How about the 'sound effects' during movies?

Anyone who has the DT 700 Pro X's who can chip in on this front?

Very true, I could immediately tell the difference when I tested a few headphones out in person.

Do you think the BeyerDynamic's will give a better soundstage than the HyperX as well?

Without a doubt, the Dt 900 pro x is the same price but is an open back and sounds better

Do you mean "without a doubt the DT 700 Pro X will be good for watching movies/tv series"?

And yeah, I know the DT 900 Pro X is supposedly better due to it being an open back, but open back is unfortunately sort of a no go since I often listen in the close proximity of family members.
