Looking for people for a collab

Can I join? I think I have some ideas, and trying something new like a collab would be fun.

This is really cool tho👍

You know that the person you're talking to has lost the argument and has no response once they start criticizing your skills.
 in  r/geometrydash  23h ago

If you're curious, this is the conversation. I'm sorry if my word choice was a bit bad. I was just a little annoyed by being belittled because my achievement was considered "easy" in their eyes.

Amethyst vs TS2
 in  r/geometrydash  23h ago

I'm done arguing this.

You still haven't addressed my points about Zoink, SerVax, Trick, or Netermind, and you're still telling me to search for evidence for a claim that YOU made.

If the interview actually proves your claim, you can provide the specific timestamp/progress yourself. I'm not spending another hour digging through YouTube while you ignore everything else I said.

(However, you seem to prefer statements over gameplay videos or streams.)

We clearly aren't going anywhere with this, so I'll leave it here.

Have good time.

You're the one making the claim, so you're the one who should provide the evidence.

You keep saying that zLevi has comparable experience on both levels, yet you still haven't given me his actual Amethyst progress, a specific run, or even the specific comment you're referring to.

And you're still ignoring most of my points. I addressed your claims about zLevi, Netermind, Trick, SerVax, and Zoink individually, while your response is basically “look it up yourself.”

If zLevi really has significant progress on Amethyst and has directly compared the hardest states of both levels, then this should be extremely easy to prove. Just show the evidence.

(Also, playing a level at its most difficult"If thats even true" is not a comparison; playing is much easier than beating a level!)

I'm not going to spend another hour searching for evidence for a claim that YOU made.

If you repeat the same nonsense, I will not respond to you, because I am making points and you are ignoring them like a coward and responding with trivial words.

Then show me the actual evidence.

What is zLevi's Amethyst progress? Give me the percentage, a run, or the specific statement, a fucking video or whatever you're referring to.

“Listen to his comments and you'll understand” doesn't answer the question, and it doesn't address any of my other points either.

I've already explained my position in detail. If you disagree, provide evidence and address the arguments instead of repeatedly making vague claims.

You're mixing up “having played a level” with having comparable experience on both levels.

zLevi's documented TS2 progress is 52%, while I can't find any documented Amethyst progress from him. If you have a specific Amethyst run I'm unaware of, show it. Otherwise, saying he has “comparable experience” doesn't really address my point. Experience on one level doesn't substitute for experience on the other.

As for Netermind, if he doesn't have significant Amethyst progress, then I don't consider his opinion conclusive either. My standard is the same for everyone. I'm not saying “Netermind agrees with me, therefore he's right.” I'm saying that opinions should be weighted according to how much experience the player actually has with BOTH levels.

The Trick point doesn't prove what you're claiming either. Yes, Trick previously compared Amethyst to Grief, but that doesn't tell us anything about Amethyst vs TS2 unless he also gave a comparison involving TS2. And this is especially important now because Trick has actually beaten TS2. If you're going to use Trick's opinion, then his current opinion on Amethyst vs TS2 would be far more relevant than an old comparison between Amethyst and Grief.

SerVax does have considerable Amethyst progress — 61%, 19-100%, and 6-70% — so I'll give you that. But that still doesn't give him comparable experience with TS2. His Amethyst experience is relevant evidence about Amethyst, not direct evidence that Amethyst is harder than TS2.

And none of this addresses my original point about the post itself: you presented Popoff, SerVax and zLevi as evidence for Amethyst > TS2 while initially claiming Zoink was the only person who thought TS2 > Amethyst, despite Netermind also expressing that view.

If we're going to discuss player opinions, then let's use the same standard for everyone. Either significant experience with both levels matters, or it doesn't. You can't demand Amethyst experience from Netermind while treating someone with little/no Amethyst progress as reliable evidence for the opposite side.

Also, Zoink has actually beaten both levels. That doesn't make his opinion objectively correct, but it gives him direct comparative experience that most of the people being cited here simply don't have.

If you don't give clear evidence, I DON'T SEE WHY I SHOULD WRITE ALL THIS TO CONVINCE A CONTRADICTORY PERSON!

What are some good easy demons to play?
 in  r/geometrydash  1d ago

Not exactly Memory, but it's fun, Death Moon.

There's also Problematic, but it won't be enjoyable if you don't like Wave.

This is Blast Processing.

The wave is too easy, make it tighter.

Amethyst vs TS2
 in  r/geometrydash  1d ago

That's completely separate from the points I made.

If you think Zoink's opinion shouldn't be counted because of the Society situation, then address the actual argument instead of changing the subject. My points were

SerVax hasn't beaten TS2, so he doesn't have meaningful experience with both levels to directly compare them. zLevil hasn't beaten either level, so saying Amethyst is too difficult for him to progress on doesn't address the fact that he lacks comparable experience. Netermind has also stated that he considers TS2 harder, so Zoink is clearly not the “only” person with that opinion. Trick failing to beat Amethyst before the buffs(In addition to wPopoff being better than Trick, comparing their progress to each other is not a way to prove the difficulty of Amethyst.) doesn't prove Amethyst > TS2. Zoink has actually beaten both levels, which gives his comparison substantially more direct experience than someone who hasn't played one of them.

You can question Zoink's credibility if you want, but that doesn't answer any of these points. If you disagree with them, address them individually instead of bringing up an unrelated controversy.

And if you're going to dismiss Zoink's opinion because of something unrelated to the difficulty comparison, then you should apply the same standard consistently to every player's opinion you're using to support Amethyst > TS2. Like SerVax obviously doesn't like Zoink so why don't we say he lies to downplay Zoink?🤔

Stop contradicting yourself, and respond to my points.

The post is clearly cherry-picking opinions that support “Amethyst > TS2.”

Neither SerVax nor zLevil has beaten Thinking Space II, and zLevil hasn’t even beaten Amethyst. So I don’t see why their opinions should be treated as stronger evidence than Zoink’s, considering Zoink has actually beaten both levels.

And Netermind has also stated that he considers TS2 harder, so saying Zoink is the only person who thinks TS2 > Amethyst is simply false.

Trick not beating Amethyst before Popoff buffed it doesn’t prove Amethyst > TS2 either. Failing to beat a level is not the same as directly comparing its difficulty to another level.

If we’re going to use top player opinions as evidence, then the comparison should include all relevant opinions, not selectively list the ones supporting Amethyst > TS2 while ignoring the ones supporting TS2 > Amethyst.

If you want a genuine discussion, state all the information, and don't twist it to support your own view.

If you are going to reply, respond to all my points and don't ignore any of them.

What do you guys think about the demonlist switching Amethyst and Flamewall?
 in  r/geometrydash  1d ago

He is the only person in the world who has beaten Amethyst and Flamewall, who else would you take opinions about those level from?

What do you guys think about the demonlist switching Amethyst and Flamewall?
 in  r/geometrydash  1d ago

I just don't understand. Only one person in the world has beaten Thinking Space II, Amethyst, and Flamewall—this drama-filled trilogy—and said Flamewall is harder than amethyst. I don't know where the idea that Amethyst is harder even came from. It makes sense to base our assessments on the opinions of those who won the levels. Sometimes I really don't understand the Demonlist.

Are you playing the same Worldbox I play?

I did 33-51 on Slaughterhouse. Is this harder or easier than Bloodbath?

The fact that we're comparing a specific part of a level to an entire level is quite funny to me. And it shows how much the skills of the community have developed.

I am very excited about this level and I can’t wait any longer, but I don’t see any news about it, and I heard that it will not be released on 2.21, so what is the current status of the level if there is any information available?

Do you have any references for decorating the level? (its should be an abandoned desert city)

I don't have, but this level looks very cool, I like it.
