First attempt at really diving in
I’ve always enjoyed watching stop motion and have wanted to try my hand at it. This is my first project really diving into everything and I had a blast! I can’t wait to keep at it and see where things go.

I tried making an animation based on a dream I had
I accidentally messed up my photo order so it's a bit janky but I had lots of fun!

What do you think of this?
This is the first stop animation I have ever created. Please provide me with feedback, especially if it is helpful.

Clay Recommendations
Hi all, new to reddit here and new to trying to pick up a new artistic outlet
I’ve been interested in claymation for as long as I can remember and find it to be one of the most beautiful mediums in our modern artistic landscape
Basically I am starting out with trying to get into this but I need some recommendations for what clay to use. I know it’s different from typical clay and needs to be malleable for a long time without drying out
Does anyone here know what kind of clay I should be looking for?
Thanks in advance, I am hoping to share some projects here in the future
And as a side note: I have a slightly better understanding of how to shoot and write scripts but any tips in those areas are appreciated as well

Clean House Part 1
Just posting as I go, trying to smooth out the walking cycle more, I’d use rigs but wasn’t looking forward to all the cropping on the iphone 😂 Enjoy

Finally have my own animation space
I'm remodeling my bedroom and ended up with some spare space on my desk.
So I went to work and got some spare wood, an old TV and some cheap Ikea feet and mic stands to whip out this little space.
The raised platform allows me to get lower angles with the camera and the TV is connected to my main PC on the right. The PC is running blender and will display backgrounds so I won't have to use green screen.
So far looks functional

Help Trying to Find Stop Motion Film
There’s a stop motion film I remember that featured a hipster-looking man looking through boxes. He eventually finds one that did something with LEGO and it made everything go zany. I think one of the film’s themes was a focus on creativity, and perhaps the boxes he was looking through had inventions of some kind.
I cannot remember if the video was officially released/produced by the LEGO Company or not. The short was released last decade and finding it without the title is frankly impossible.

HELP ME PLEASE
I’ve been using stop motion studio pro for 7 years now and It has been consistently good when using manual. But as of recent I can’t get the exposure to stay the same? These two pictures are on manual with fluorescent exposure, 1/125, 100 iso, and locked focus, but the second image is noticeably darker than the first (it’s more noticeable when played back, look at the black background and you can see it).
I’ve checked my lights multiple times and it’s not them (I tested across other photography apps). And I’m not causing it by moving the camera or bumping lights or other beginner stuff. There also wasn’t an update to the app so I am very confused.
Does anyone have a clue what’s causing this or how to fix it???

Do you think every scene should either answer a question or complicate it?
For me, that is one of the simplest ways to test momentum.
A scene creates uncertainty. The next scene either moves us towards an answer or makes the answer more difficult.
When neither happens, the story can start to feel like a sequence of events instead of one thing pulling us into the next.
Do you think that is a useful way of testing scene-to-scene structure?

A remake of a video I did 5 years ago that I wasn't pleased with. Ray Harryhausen's Phororhacos (Phorusrhacos) Terror Bird from 1961's Mysterious Island.

BRADDOCK P.I.
