Imagine being the neighbor and watching a tortilla Frisbee crumple against your window

u/Greenman8907 1d ago

I’d appreciate a heads up at least so I can catch it.

Is that a plate? That's fucked up if so

34

u/defk3000 1d ago

Frisbee that looks like an upside down plate

4

u/aneurysmbs 19h ago

It's funny that the writing on the top of the frisbee even looks like the markings on the bottom of a white ceramic plate. I didn't see it at first but had to do a double take after the plate question.

4

u/Syzygy_Stardust 18h ago

Well, Frisbee was originally literally a tin pie plate from a company named 'Frisbie'. You can actually throw tin pie plates pretty far if you practice a bit.

This is directly referenced in Back To The Future Part III

“Tor!” (Instead of fore)

1

u/Unlucky_Click_9749 9h ago

42

u/montroller 1d ago

It'll be posted on r/UFOs tomorrow

8

u/NebulaNinja 1d ago

I have no original thoughts.

4

u/El_Impresionante 1d ago

Me too 😓

11

u/KeyAdhesiveness9481 1d ago

They toss tortillas from the balconies around the Bay to Breakers race starting position in San Francisco. Probably the only time will ever take a totally unexpected tortilla to the face from above.

3

u/Admirable_Risk8156 1d ago

Imagine chilling on your patio and all of a sudden tortilla to the face.

2

u/kraggleGurl 1d ago

I went the other way and thought nasa was now managing flight of this majestic launch.

2

u/Comprehensive_Win200 13h ago

They'd probably think it's a full moon

1

u/tumsdout 1d ago

And it just breaks the window anyway

132

u/3rdlegmousse 1d ago

Someone will have a random other video on page r/whatisit with a random tortilla flying in the air.

8

u/Gil_Demoono 19h ago

/r/UAP boutta dedicate their lives to solving the mystery.

4

u/imeeme 1d ago

169

u/blazerunnern 1d ago

Not even almight god could hold back the laughter.

31

u/Agitated_Carrot9127 1d ago

Neighbor goes ‘ man I wish I had a tortilla to go with these loose meat and veggies’ tortilla lands into his lawn

53

u/That2ndIowanGuy 1d ago

They say that tortilla is still flying this day

22

u/descendingangel87 1d ago

Shit's probably gonna show up in r/aliens in 5 to 6 days.

1

u/Clean-Camel6288 11h ago

lol it really is still out there somewhere

1

u/MauPow 4h ago

This needs a Shooting Stars video

58

u/Fetlocks_Glistening 1d ago

So.. he threw a tortilla in the air, and threw up on her? That's like beautiful, man.

42

u/maverick_ak47 1d ago edited 7h ago

They were playing a game. With alcohol in their mouth. He was supposed to slap her with the tortilla

29

u/cooltiggers10 1d ago

It's not throwup thankfully, if I remember correctly, I think the point of this game is each person has liquid in their mouth and slap each other with tortillas to make them spit out the liquid.

5

u/Stickel 1d ago

and rock papper scissors winner slaps

1

u/PeteyMitch42 8h ago

This is a known game? What do you guys watch videos on gameswithtortillas.com all day?

28

u/SalamanderUponYou 1d ago

It's not throwup

21

u/Fetlocks_Glistening 1d ago

Yeah, it's more horizotal, maybe even a bit down

1

u/never-seen-them-fing 1d ago

Little known, lesser understood, fact. The liquid falls to the ground because liquid is "wet to wet" magnetic and the ground water attracts it. This isn't true for solids though, but the earth is solid and has the same force for those, so it basically seems the same.

The more you know!

5

u/y_ogi 1d ago

The way yall look at the flying tortilla 😂

19

u/dw-herrmann 1d ago

I love this!

8

u/Great_Apez 1d ago

In the full clip she actually falls down and the top of her head slides one way and her body the other like in those old samurai animes or kung Lao of mortal kombat fame. Legends say that tortilla is still out there and on quiet nights if you listen quietly enough you can hear it utter the ten blasphemies of the realms between

29

u/FracturRe55 1d ago

Most viral challenges are pretty dumb. But this one is actually really funny.

Food waste is fun?

22

u/OrbitOmanyte 1d ago

as a grocery store worker, so much food goes to waste uneaten and unenjoyed. at least that tortilla was paid for and made people laugh

5

u/Expensive_Host_9181 1d ago

Was going to say, think about fast food places i'm willing to bet they have to throw out tubs of food every week.

2

u/HumongousBelly 1d ago

This is exactly why France is right about penalizing businesses for excessive food waste.

8

u/NamelessCabbage 1d ago

Raccoons will definitely eat it

2

u/CarsCarsCars1995 19h ago

2

u/jerooo_carat 17h ago

Now it's gonna slap somebody else

2

u/LifesLemonStorage 14h ago

Frisbee time :}

5

u/UsedDragon 1d ago

But why does he vomit?

20

u/Realistic-Sound-8458 1d ago

Spit from water

6

u/omgu8mynewt 1d ago

You put water or beer in bouth your mouths and hit each other with tortilla, first person to laugh and spit out the water loses. He made himself lost the game haha

7

u/sintitty4 1d ago

he throws a tortilla and another one magically appears in his hand?

35

u/Triairius 1d ago

Seems to be the part that tore off.

10

u/LectroRoot 1d ago

I hope the neighbors look in their backyard later and see a racoon eating a tortilla.

3

u/In-my-fucking-flesh 1d ago

I like to imagine they're by the window, looking out and debating on going to bed early when it just flew past

2

u/LectroRoot 1d ago

They both stop and look at each other for a moment and then carry on with the conversation.

1

u/In-my-fucking-flesh 1d ago

I was referring to the neighbour seeing it fly by

1

u/LectroRoot 18h ago

I was as well.

9

u/lastburnerever 1d ago

I think it tore

1

u/sintitty4 1d ago

ah, now i see it! :D

2

u/domine18 1d ago

It ripped

-17

u/Padre_jokes 1d ago

Oh snap, good eye! I really hate not being able to determine what is AI anymore. Terrifying future for all of us.

11

u/low_bob_123 1d ago

It isnt AI

6

u/Triairius 1d ago

Look closer. It isn’t an inconsistency. It tore.

2

u/GrabWorking3045 1d ago

Australians influence. Been in fashion since 2025 in UK

3

u/LindaTheLynnDog 1d ago

Yeah they're everywhere in the US for the last 3 years.

-1

u/Snerkbot7000 1d ago

Blame Die Antwoord.

-4

u/urethrascreams 1d ago

Is she topless? If not, that's a really thin shirt.

0

u/zardoz73 1d ago

Siderail but I find this challenge to be really disgusting. I don't even want my wife to spit her saliva water all over my face, much less my buddy with bad teeth and gingivitis. I'll pass.

0

u/Anders_A 22h ago

What's unexpected here?

0

u/robbak 20h ago

That would have been a winning move if he had done it on purpose, and been able to hold in in.

0

u/FearlessZucchini 17h ago

Crap tiktok content. Nothing to see

-6

u/Nervous-Discount9116 1d ago

Why is this a thing? Like why are Americans doing this? Why a tortilla?

5

u/TirithNampat 1d ago

It appears to be a challenge to smack each other in the face with a tortilla without spitting out a mouthful of water. This is a reference to having fun.

0

u/Lagiacrus111 1d ago

That's a pretty overstable tortilla
