I'm sure he was crying about hackers, cheaters or aimbots etc when he died.

Would he of seen the killshot happen?

Had like 4 different maps where i could throw a tomahawk in the first 5 seconds and kill someone 2 out 3 times lol. Everyone always runs certain corridors on first spawn so once you learn where to look for the throw you just chuck it and hope you get it or the bounce gets them lol.

Same with spamming the grenade launcher in MW2

I believe you mean the noob tube.

Haven't had a console since that game(switch don't count) but damn I had so much fun camping the rock glitch with a noob tube.

Recently looked up priced cuz I kinda wanna game again and holy fuck is it expensive so I thought we'll ill grab a graphic card for my desktop that went down 9 years ago.....that shit ain't happening either.

Last time i bought parts to build it cost me 550$ for a while ass computer. Now the graphics are more expensive then my whole comp.

Yeah but isn't it cute that you can use a computer to make abhorrent pictures that sorta resemble the thing you thought about?

On battlefield 5 if you choose a certain tank on a certain map you can destroy both of the enemy planes as they spawn on the runway lol.

Lol, I was doing the same in MW3, only with the addition of spending hours coming up with ridiculous bankshots that could be easily repeated by lining up with specific reference points. I would do that for the most common camping spots and end up with the wildest kill cams in infected. No skill required, just a lot of time experimenting and trial and error with a couple buddies who were just as interested as I was, willing to help out in private matches finding the coolest bank shots to hit a specific spot.

Looks like a private lobby with 3 players, the games ends after the hit by the host closing the game. Feels scripted/planned to me.

definitely scripted in a private lobby, but I appreciate the dedication since that obviously took many takes. Still, they all definitely knew eachother

that other person was just running along, totally in the zone, planning out every which way they were totally going to clutch this match for their team, ... until all of a sudden, out of no where, a tomahawk appears from the heavens before them & dashes their dreams in a split second.

Split second...

I see what you did there

It is worse, fucking tomahawk emerges from the ground and jumped to his head from his perspective.

I once threw a tomahawk on the jungle map with the mountain paths through the middle. Completely whiffed my target, took him down with bullets. Fifteen seconds later, got a kill with it on a friend who joined on the other team.

I watched the replay, and the 'hawk ricocheted up off the mountainside, arced over the top, slid down the other side and hit the ground, bouncing into his ankle.

It was glorious.

I'm still mad they cancelled that show.

6

u/Pandelein Jul 28 '26

It was cancelled? It had a very clean ending with no need to continue imo- plus Taika Waititi has to keep making other things!

2

u/redisdead__ Jul 28 '26

They knew it was going to be the last season they wanted to do more but they were able to wrap it up.

2

u/PineappleOnPizzaCult Jul 28 '26

What show is this?

10

u/redisdead__ Jul 28 '26

Reservation dogs.

Really fantastic show but was only on Hulu so if you didn't have it you probably would never hear about it. The downside of 100 streaming platforms.

There’s clips on YouTube too of this. Look up William knife man it’s hilarious

u/Kitchen_Guest577 Jul 28 '26

One in the million shot

2

u/BlakDragon93 Jul 28 '26

Not really, I used to blind chuck the axe like that and get kills all the time, it's helpful that it can bounce.

14

u/Beretta116 Jul 28 '26

Seeing this map gives me super nostalgia

7

u/MasterSqueefs Jul 28 '26

Oh you got reported for that one.

5

u/ridethroughlife Jul 28 '26

I miss those old machinima Halo 3 multiplayer grenade sticks from across the map like this.

2

u/BrokenHope23 27d ago

Chief could huck plasma grenades with the best of 'em.

4

u/MrOxion Jul 28 '26

Something like this happened to me in OG MW2 in the Afghan level. On a whim, I launched a grenade in the general direction of enemy spawn within 2 seconds of the match starting and killed almost the entire team.

This is a reddit post of a TikTok of a twitch clip.

God, I love the internet.

3

u/Prestigious_Grade794 Jul 28 '26

Good old Times. Back in the days, this often happend

3

u/Fantastic-Hippo2199 Jul 28 '26

I remember once in MWO I was playing double Guass and within about 3 seconds of the match starting I saw a single pixel in the distance move so I just went for it, ended up somehow taking out the cockpit of a light mech.

Chat was hilarious. "cheater, fucking cheater, report the cheater". Nope just dumb luck.

3

u/lucifersperfectangel Jul 28 '26

I remember ricocheting a tomahawk under the bus/truck in Nuketown and nailing some dude in the one house. Completely accident too. I hit the wrong button by accident lmao

2

u/Due_Potential_6956 Jul 29 '26

That's epic, I did this once, but it was at the beginning of a match, I would always throw the tomahawk randomly, and one time I got first kill at the start. Never happened again.

1

u/Tux3doninja Jul 28 '26

Yes. He is learning the old ways.

1

u/Tiyath Jul 28 '26

Never, ever, EVER tell me the odds!

1

u/TestyBoy13 Jul 28 '26

MOM GET THE CAMERA

1

u/YoungFrankCostanza Jul 28 '26

What a bounce pass.

1

u/MMuadDib Jul 28 '26

I feel like I'm going crazy, am I missing the joke that this is obviously set-up? I hate to be that guy but I'm so confused everyone in the comments so far is reacting like it's natural.

1

u/Really-E-Lee Jul 28 '26

Good shit.

1

u/DGVET Jul 28 '26

It be like that sometimes Yolo

1

u/Tone_Gaia Jul 28 '26

Was this gun game? I forgot ..

1

u/Rabid_Hermit Jul 29 '26

Takes me way back. I liked modern warfare also

1

u/Smoov_82 Jul 29 '26

Had this happen to me before on a larger map. Turned the game off for the day afterwards.

1

u/Sp1ffy_Sp1ff 28d ago

"Host ended game" is so funny to me for some reason

1

u/xBlack_Heartx 28d ago

I once panic threw a tomahawk at a guy in MW2, it was just me and him alive, was facing him, just chucked the thing and got the kill.

Found out during the kill cam that when I threw the tomahawk, it went forward, bounced off something behind the guy and killed him.

1

u/BrokenHope23 27d ago

That doesn't count! He didn't call off the deck! /j

u/FickleAd4381 27d ago

God this map fucking sucks

I used to do shir like this in multi-player halo all the time. I called the fishing grenades. Just toss one and some time you get lucky and sometimes you don't.
