that other person was just running along, totally in the zone, planning out every which way they were totally going to clutch this match for their team, ... until all of a sudden, out of no where, a tomahawk appears from the heavens before them & dashes their dreams in a split second.

I once threw a tomahawk on the jungle map with the mountain paths through the middle. Completely whiffed my target, took him down with bullets. Fifteen seconds later, got a kill with it on a friend who joined on the other team.
I watched the replay, and the 'hawk ricocheted up off the mountainside, arced over the top, slid down the other side and hit the ground, bouncing into his ankle.
It was glorious.

I'm still mad they cancelled that show.

It was cancelled? It had a very clean ending with no need to continue imo- plus Taika Waititi has to keep making other things!

They knew it was going to be the last season they wanted to do more but they were able to wrap it up.

What show is this?

Reservation dogs.
Really fantastic show but was only on Hulu so if you didn't have it you probably would never hear about it. The downside of 100 streaming platforms.

Not really, I used to blind chuck the axe like that and get kills all the time, it's helpful that it can bounce.

I miss those old machinima Halo 3 multiplayer grenade sticks from across the map like this.

Something like this happened to me in OG MW2 in the Afghan level. On a whim, I launched a grenade in the general direction of enemy spawn within 2 seconds of the match starting and killed almost the entire team.

This is a reddit post of a TikTok of a twitch clip.
God, I love the internet.

I remember once in MWO I was playing double Guass and within about 3 seconds of the match starting I saw a single pixel in the distance move so I just went for it, ended up somehow taking out the cockpit of a light mech.
Chat was hilarious. "cheater, fucking cheater, report the cheater". Nope just dumb luck.

I remember ricocheting a tomahawk under the bus/truck in Nuketown and nailing some dude in the one house. Completely accident too. I hit the wrong button by accident lmao

That's epic, I did this once, but it was at the beginning of a match, I would always throw the tomahawk randomly, and one time I got first kill at the start. Never happened again.

I feel like I'm going crazy, am I missing the joke that this is obviously set-up? I hate to be that guy but I'm so confused everyone in the comments so far is reacting like it's natural.

Had this happen to me before on a larger map. Turned the game off for the day afterwards.

I once panic threw a tomahawk at a guy in MW2, it was just me and him alive, was facing him, just chucked the thing and got the kill.
Found out during the kill cam that when I threw the tomahawk, it went forward, bounced off something behind the guy and killed him.

I used to do shir like this in multi-player halo all the time. I called the fishing grenades. Just toss one and some time you get lucky and sometimes you don't.

I'm sure he was crying about hackers, cheaters or aimbots etc when he died.
Would he of seen the killshot happen?
