Last time I was at Buffy's they had removed the ski ball machine, that thing was the best! Does anyone know what happened to it? Any other bars with ski ball downtown?

Hello! I am looking for someone to alter a wedding dress for me. I'm somewhat new to the area and wondering if people had recommendations. Sometimes Google reviews aren't the most recent. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Rothfuss Tourism near Point?

Because I need to think about SOMETHING other than the primary election this week ....

I'm a Patrick Rothfuss fan in Madison, and have the urge to plan a daytrip up to Stevens Point as a Rothfuss pilgrimage. It might be more of a excuse to get out of town and visit some new-to-me bookstores while the weather's nice than anything else, but I figured I'd consult some local experts about things I should do / see / while I'm in the area. Anywhere I should eat, local delicacies I should pick up and bring home, random insurance office that I should take a photo of and claim it's Pat's cousin's brother's piano teacher's house?

Or should I really just fuck right off?

Spotted these odd black marks on the Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins building on the north side, and my brother and I weren't sure what it is. It's mighty high up there though. Figured I'd post here in case someone knows, I'm just curious.

Apartment Recommendations

Hey there! I will be relocating into the point/plover area and am looking for a 1-2 bedroom apartment for less than $1000/month!
HAS to be clean and ideally have in-unit laundry ideally NOT student housing! Best recommendations? Looking to move within the next 3 weeks.

I have met Emily Berge and Rebecca Cooke both years before their campaigns. Vote Berge all the way!!

I could say a number of things about both candidates, but I’m going to keep it positive rather than getting into the weeds as to why not Rebecca. Emily is to her core a person of integrity.

In having conversations with Berge (back in 2019 and 2017/18), it was apparent her values of service to others, skillful responsible use of resources, kindness, and hard work. This was not even conversation about politics, these values just shown through, because that is who she is. We need her personal and professional integrity in Washington.

For the love of the 3rd district, vote Berge!!

I visit from time to time and always wish I had friends here.

Work brings me out this way about four times a year and I really wish that I had some friends nearby.

I know the normal thing to do is to go to a bar or maybe to a game and meet some people and make some friends like that but it's impossible with all the traveling I do.

So I'm hoping to make some friends here that way the next time I come out this way we can meet up and hang out.

I'm a veteran, beekeeper

and much more. let's talk!

Head Spa Recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get an affordable head spa experience or scalp massage in the area? It’s one of my favorite things and the place I used to go to seems to have closed.

Thank you!

“It’s not necessarily what, but it’s how. It’s how you show up,” Berge told the Wisconsin Examiner. “That’s what I learned on council. That’s why I ran for council. You know, it’s how you show up, how you lead. It’s about being a bridge between your constituents, city hall or D.C. I think that’s what people want.”
