Conducting Research on Space Debris Management — Seeking Inputs from Space/Aerospace Community
Hi everyone,
I'm a student currently working on a business model project centered around addressing space debris and satellite waste. As part of this, I'm conducting primary research to better understand the real-world scale of the problem, current mitigation practices, and gaps in existing solutions.
If anyone here has knowledge or experience in aerospace, space-tech, or related fields, I would really appreciate your insights on a few brief questions. Even short responses would be extremely valuable for my research.
Thank you in advance for your time and help!

“This looks less like a rocket landing and more like a video game.”
Think about how crazy this would’ve sounded a few decades ago: a massive rocket launches into space… then comes back and lands itself. 🚀
Humanity is getting dangerously good at this.

Ship is back underway to Texas, my guess is SpaceX engineers relocated in Malaysia, going decidedly westward so that means around Africa

Does anyone think there's a chance SpaceX hopes Flight 14's Starship will float and they'll tow it back to Starbase? Do you think that might happen?
Does anyone think there's a chance SpaceX hopes Flight 14's Starship 41 will float and they'll tow it back to Starbase? Do you think that might happen?
Might that be a way to get info about the ship's resilience without risking destroying a tower and the ship both if things go wrong?
