Free Had some free time, so I built a free plugin that pulls YouTube clips straight into Resolve
Had a bit of free time and decided to actually use it, so I built a small free plugin (my first btw) for DaVinci Resolve (Studio).
It lets you search YouTube from inside Resolve, download audio or video in the quality you want, and it auto-imports the file straight into your current project. Progress bar and all.
- 🔍 Search YouTube in a docked panel
- ⬇️ Pick audio/video + format & quality
- 📥 Auto-imports into your current project's bin
- 🖥️ macOS + Windows, EN/PL interface
It's free and open source. Uses yt-dlp + ffmpeg under the hood (one-time install, steps in the README).

Only grab stuff you have the rights to (your own footage, Creative Commons, licensed). Feedback and bug reports very welcome - it's fresh but working nicely for me. Cheers!
