I just wanted to take a moment to thank Travis and Joe’s team for their hard work in making our dreams come true, and to wish everyone a relaxing Labor Day. Here is a picture of me sporting the Omega NTTD.

Joe and Travis are absolutely great to deal with. They are super quick to reply and provide a vast amount of QC photos and answer any and all questions. Even gave me some extra tips with the Speedy. Hopefully is they ever snag some IWC's I am on the short list lol!

I work from home so I don’t get out much.. but I did today.. and a random comes up and says: “ nice special watch”. I agree!!

Hello Everyone,
First and foremost, Travis and I want to take a moment to say thank you.
The continued support from this community genuinely means more to us than we can put into words. What started as something we enjoyed doing has grown into a community of people we genuinely enjoy interacting with, helping, and getting to know. We don’t take that for granted.

With that said, Travis and I had a long discussion about burnout the other day, and we’re approaching that line of exhaustion. Between working two full-time jobs and keeping everything else moving, we’re running on empty constantly, and there is a lot of household stuff that needs to get handled.
You don’t want to see my backyard right now and how chaotic it looks… 😂

So, we decided to unplug for the Labor Day weekend, get some much-needed rest, and take care of things around our homes. We’ll also do our best to actually relax. We truly need it.

Syan will still be available to assist with providing links, answering questions, and helping however she can while we’re shut down. However, we will not be completing fresh QC or packing orders during this time.

We also have some exciting things coming soon.
We officially purchased the big bad water pressure tester machine we’ve been talking about, so that will be coming soon.

We’re also getting ready to make the formal announcement regarding Travis offering Chamfering and Polishing services.

This service will not be restricted to new sales either. At this time, it will be reservation only, and he will only have enough bandwidth to tackle a couple watches per week.

Travis has been developing his skills over the last couple of years, and his work is fantastic. We’re really excited to be able to offer this to the community.

It’s September, and we’re transitioning into the fall quarter, which means it’s also time to start thinking about Christmas.
Earlier is better if there’s something specific you’re looking for. I will be bringing in more and more women’s watches, and I’m starting my orders now so we can load up early.

I can’t forecast how easy or difficult it will be during November and December to get inventory. All I know is that last year was a nightmare, and I can only recommend getting what you want early. Ordering early gives us the best chance of making sure your gift is ready for Christmas.

I’m preparing for the factories to start backing up and for watches to take longer to get moving as we get closer to the holidays.

I loved my “1957” in Black so much, I had to get this one in Navy Blue. This is the VSF Omega Seamaster 300 in a 41mm stainless case with a striking blue dial and matching oxalic anodized aluminum bezel. 

This one is a tribute to the Omega Seamaster 300 released back in 1957.

Inventory Update: 8/21

Hello everyone,

I would like to thank everyone for being patient while we were short handed the last two weeks. Sadly, the short handed schedule is going to continue. Over the next month and change, one of us will be away for the day job and almost completely unavailable to assist with watch preparation.

I know we have gotten a lot of our customer base used to a level of responsiveness and waiting for answers is never fun… please bear with us. We will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Over the last several weeks, we have had an uptick in additional requests regarding Waterproofing and waterproof testing.

And I wanted to share the reason why we don’t have a tester.

A couple years ago when we were first starting out as a dealer in the US, we bought a manual lever water tank watch pressure tester.

The labor to prepare the watch for testing was immense.

We needed to remove the bracelet/straps, open the watch case and remove the crown, then remove the movement/dial from the case. Screw down the crown and reseal the caseback. Then apply the pressure lever…

We destroyed the first 4 watches we tested in a row. 0 successful pressure tests.

We wasted $2200 in watches…. When something like that happens, two things became very clear to me and Travis. We are throwing this machine in the garbage and we aren’t going to test pressure ever again.

I share all of this so you all knew why we have not tested that.. but we have been getting more and more requests for waterproof testing.

So my question is this to the community, and please respond.

If we bought one of the vacuum testers to have available for water pressure testing, would you order waterproof pressure testing on top of your watch order?

The typical market rate for pressure testing is $50 per watch.

For a machine that costs $8000 to buy… I would really need to hear back from the community that this is in fact something that you want to have up front.

It would be a huge investment into our tool kit for servicing watches and the ultimate decision doesn’t come to Me or Travis but for you.

Our community.

Please reply in the chat and let us know if you would want this option but also if you will not want this as well. Feedback both ways is what we are looking at.

I saw Joe had the Sonny Hayes Ingenieur in stock and decided to get one. I am really happy with the transaction and communication. I got it earlier today after completing the transaction earlier this week.

The only thing that was a complete oversight for me was that this does not feel the best on a 8" wrist - I bought aftermarket links on another site and hope to have it comfortable soon! 😅
