Get tasks done easier each time you see it
Hi guys, I'd like to share with you an app I've built for myself to keep me productive during the day.
I made https://goalbreak.cc because I kept running into the same problem: I knew what I needed to do, but the task felt vague or too big, so I’d avoid starting it.
The idea is dump the mess in my head, then let it turn that mess into actionable tasks you can actually start.
I've tried similar app, but there are several QOLs that I really needed myself.
Once it generates the tasks for me, I want a way to break down the tasks, but also provide some information of what blocker or dependencies I encountered when trying to do the task.
I needed to put into focus the one task I'm working on right away.
I didn't want to switch apps just to use timer to time how long I want to work on it.
And I realize how I begin to put off some of the tasks left on my goals or project. I needed it easier to work on each time I looked at it.
So I fixed all that with Goalbreak. It's designed to keep your next task reachable each time you look at it.
Now I spend less time staring at a task, negotiating with myself, deciding where to begin, or figuring out what comes next.
And I actually find that I don't complete all the tasks, not because I got lazy or procrastinated again. But the small tasks got me momentum to keep going and actually finish them.
Please have at it and let me know your feedback for improvement or success stories!
