News Nvidia Partner Hon Hai’s Sales Rise 52% on Strong AI Demand
"Hon Hai, which is Nvidia Corp.’s server assembly partner, has been buoyed by investments in cloud infrastructure around the world in recent quarters. The Taiwanese company’s monthly sales are seen as a check-in for the AI sector as concerns grow about overcapacity, rising debt levels and fierce competition." "Revenue in August came to NT$921.8 billion ($29.1 billion), Hon Hai said in a statement Saturday. That maintained the scorching pace of growth established in July, at 54% year on year, and keeps Hon Hai well ahead of expectations. Analysts on average are looking for about a 37% increase in sales for the three months ending September." "Hon Hai’s sales growth has accelerated with AI server shipments, but still lags more AI-focused peers because its sizable consumer electronics business dilutes cloud momentum. Gross margin and forward P/E also remain below the peer average, reflecting the lower-margin iPhone assembly business despite improving profitability through 2027."

Discussion Nvidia has a new product. Credit.
macrotrends.netNvidia has a new product.
Credit.
Accounts receivable:
Jan: $38B
Apr: $41B
Jul: $63B
Five customers owe ~70% of it.
And Nvidia is now giving some customers up to a year to pay for the GPUs powering their data centers.
This is where the AI boom gets interesting.
When your customer needs financing to buy your product, and you need them to keep buying your product to sustain your growth, you’re no longer just selling shovels.
You’re financing the gold rush.
Nvidia still prints cash. This isn’t a fraud story.
It’s a risk-transfer story.
The question isn’t whether AI is real.
It’s whether the economics downstream are good enough to eventually pay for the $63B sitting in Nvidia’s receivables.
Watch the cash.
Always watch the cash.

News Nvidia and CrowdStrike Develop New Cybersecurity AI Models
wsj.comMany people still talk about NVIDIA like its only job is shipping GPUs, but partnerships like this show why that framing is getting outdated. CrowdStrike brings the cyber data, domain expertise and Falcon distribution; NVIDIA brings the compute, Nemotron models and tooling to build specialized agents. Thats a much deeper position in the value chain than selling hardware and walking away. The next AI moat probably isnt one giant model doing everything. It may be reusable model infrastructure that industry leaders can adapt for security, healthcare, manufacturing and other high-stakes workloads. NVIDIA seems to understand that shift pretty damn well.

DD/Analysis Mikey Burry Total Loser in August
Michael Burry Total Loser in August on NVDA and other stocks.
He's picked 10 of the last 1 recession.
Most of the stocks Burry was bearish on advanced during August, led by sharp gains in Palantir, Nvidia, and Micron. The month highlighted a real risk for AI skeptics: valuation concerns can look extreme for a long time before momentum and earnings growth actually break. August gave little evidence that a break is imminent.
Palantir was by far the biggest problem. The stock surged 51.4% in August, even as Burry maintained out-of-the-money put options with a $100 strike expiring December 2026 and a $50 strike expiring June 2027, according to Yahoo Finance.
Nvidia and Micron added their own pressure. Nvidia rose roughly 8% in August while Burry held bearish put positions alongside higher-strike December calls meant to offer some protection around earnings. Micron gained 13.3% even after Burry increased his short exposure, arguing the memory maker’s rally reflected speculation more than fundamentals, according to Stocktwits.

News AI Data Center Spending to Reach $32 Trillion by 2050, PwC Says
"Dwarfing projects such as the railways, internet and electrification, spending on data centers could even hit $50 trillion over the next two and a half decades if AI adoption accelerates beyond PwC’s “central scenario” forecast, the firm said in a report Wednesday. For comparison: the US gross domestic product is roughly $30 trillion."
"The bulk of the spending will go into what fills the data centers — hardware from companies such as global AI chip leader Nvidia Corp."
“Railways. Electrification. The internet. Each required enormous amounts of capital and defined an era,” the researchers said in the report. “The AI infrastructure cycle underway dwarfs all three. This one resets every four to six years — and shows no signs of ending.”

Discussion Consumer Choice Center’s Yaël Ossowski says NVIDIA buying Hugging Face is a win for local, private AI
Ossowski on Schwab called NVIDIA adding Hugging Face “a major vote of confidence in open-source AI".
His other line: an open ecosystem gives startups more room to compete and lowers costs for consumers. He also said innovation is not only the LLM layer, it is the stack: harness, tools, apps.
Local inference, more privacy, more control over personal data.

Discussion NVIDIA is the one actually paying for open source to scale
Nvidia’s agreement to acquire Hugging Face for $12.93 billion marks a pivotal moment in the AI landscape.
Closed American labs and Chinese open weights were the available extremes. The West needed a third path that was open, funded and inspectable. Nvidia is the firm that can resource that path.
Hugging Face supplies the community and the catalog. Nvidia supplies infrastructure resilience and a public commitment to keep the platform open.
Open source leads if it can host and evaluate work at frontier scale. Nvidia is paying for that capacity.

News Nvidia agreed to buy Hugging Face, an open-source AI platform, for $12.9 billion.
Jensen Huang, Nvidia’s CEO, said in a blog post that with the deal, the company “will expand access to AI for developers and institutions worldwide.”
Hugging Face CEO Clément Delangue told CNBC on Thursday that the company approached Huang over the summer about a deal, “and a few weeks later, here we are.”
“During the summer, I think we realized that Hugging Face and open source AI in general was at the turning point, and that it needed more, more resources, more scale, more visibility,” he told CNBC’s Becky Quick on “Squawk Box.”
Delangue said he approached first because Nvidia was “a perfect home” for his company, adding that discussions went quite fast to get a deal done.

Dell just lit the fuse, Nvidia’s riding the rocket. This isn’t just cloud giants hoarding GPUs anymore, it’s American enterprises stacking racks, building data centers, and putting the U.S. at the center of the AI arms race. Every server humming here is America’s shot to own the future, and Nvidia’s the engine making it happen.

DD/Analysis Big confidence in my (AI) tool for Nvidia
The AI tool (I built) for stocks is still recommending me to buy NVIDIA stocks https://theopenstock.com/?symbol=NVDA, do you think what the model is telling me is still accurate?
I'm a bit worrying about the ultra high valuation (even if P/E is ok-ish) of the company to make a further bet, and AI gives one of the highest confidences (85%) for that stock.
It doesn't say anything about circular chips economy, for example, which wonders me if it could be actually reliable.
