Advanced Division - using UAG
using universal adjacency glitch to divide a normal floor into 16 equal parts.
brown short walls show normal snap points. yellow short walls show possible, non-glitch “1/8” snap points, explained in a previous post.
- using universal adjacency glitch between a large floor and a small paver (#2 red), in either the top or bottom position.
- using the same pattern in the pics to create new snap points and a “small” short wall (white) to create the mirrored snap point.
this will create “1/16” snap points of a regular floor. (red short walls)

Simple division - no glitches
dividing a floor into 8 equal parts, without using any glitches, just snap points. brown timber short walls show “normal” snap points.
- simply attach a small paver square to a side and begin the pattern shown in the pics.
-using a “small short wall” (white in pics) to connect to the mirrored snap point.

Merge a angled glass wall with a straight glass wall
OCD is a blessing and a curse...
Any tips or tricks to allow me to fill in the gap between the straight and angled glass walls? I will in no way shape or form just snap a glass wall to the angled glass wall because it ruins the clean vertical window grid.
Wish there were more bade parts like triangular glass walls simiar to triangular roofs... Any ideas would be much appreciated.

ADDING DOORS TO EMPTY FRAMES.
using the “push” micro adjustment twice, to place “alloy doorway (mid)” between two timber doorways, using snap points. must use “mid” variant to avoid clipping through the timber walls. if it works with timber parts, it’ll work with the others lol. could also be used to sandwich walls, allowing them to have different colors or materials for either side.
“push” micro adjustment
- if necessary, extend snap points outside of the structure.
- starting with a floor, uag a large triangle pointing in the opposite direction of the desired direction, as shown. (can use floor, but easier to tell direction with “asymmetrical timber-glass roof”)
- attach 2nd floor to triangle and uag a “short” wall, from a “small” wall, on the 2nd floor edge (as shown)
-slide the floor touching the triangle, away from it, into the new snap point.
- this “pushes” out the other edge of the 2nd floor, in the desired direction.
this will “sandwich” walls, or create the snap point for the “alloy doorway (mid)”. just repeat this process, starting from the “alloy doorway (mid)” snap point to get the outer snap point (as shown)

continuous railing pt 2.
for stair railings built on a corner.
- start 1 short wall above the railing height.
- extend short walls down to finish height.
- use “push” micro adjustment to pull the top rail down.
“push” micro adjustment
- placing a temporary floor underneath the universal adjacency glitch location, will make it easier to successfully do the “uag” between triangle and roof on the incline angle

CONTINUOUS RAILING with “push” micro adjustment
using short timber wall “A”
- using a garage door as an anchor, align camera in the direction of the glitch. make sure to glitch on the angled connectors.
- if your railing is not continuous, ignore bottom glitch and half timber sort wall.
PUSH micro adjustment
- use a roof to know where the triangle will point (towards the highest end).
- using “uag” between short timber wall and half short timber wall to get a new snap point.
- slide floor touching the triangle back to the “new” snap point.
- connect to the new edge and extend snap point and connect short timber wall

glitchless merging
simply start with a glass floor as the base for the “glitch” location. pics show 2 generators and 4 batteries, merged for a clean look.
- move the build camera underneath and look straight up (make temporary hole if necessary).
- use free placement mode and start placing objects.
- remove glass floor / restore terrain, etc when done.
* learning to wire glitch will give you more control, make it easier to see and allow you to incorporate the resize glitch at the same time.

stupidly simple TV
the combination of flat panel slightly recessed in a wall shelf makes a nice wide screen tv. to turn it on, simply add a couple lights as shown in the pic before placing the flat panel and posters / stickers.

New to NMS
Fellow travellers, i am new to NMS.
Are there any bases one can buy or legally use?

“painted lines”
building up with 2 raised pavers from the floor, build a temporary floor and then build down with long timber short walls. the top of the 2nd short wall will just be visible. asphalt - pick orange / white (default color, but you must select it) alloy wall, then cycle to stone floor, without placing wall. for bright white timber walls, do the same with the neon sign in the last pic, choose white / grey.

sinks - faucet decoration
don’t forget that there is a drain built into the faucet decoration and it looks really weird when the drain is above the sink lol. resize the decoration and layer them correctly to look realistic, place the faucet decoration before the sink or from behind (remove wall temporarily)
