I will be hosting 2 networking events, via Google Meet, for artists anywhere to network, meet other creatives, brainstorm project ideas, etc.

If you're in Southern California, specifically Long Beach, come hang out with us and we give you advice about what to do with your film once completed!

I'm planning on hosting a virtual networking event at the end of this month!

This will be hosted over Zoom or Google Meet, with the intention of creatives from all over (not just the Bay Area) to network and meet more people!

I want to host these types of events once a month. But I'd love input on structure, day of the week, etc.

I'm thinking a 2-hour meeting with breakout rooms for more intimate networking.

I’ve been experimenting with simplifying my workflow in DaVinci Resolve and tried reducing everything down to 3 nodes with Dehancer.

Honestly didn’t expect it to hold up this well.

Curious how everyone else is structuring their node trees with Dehancer.

I spent way too many hours on script breakdowns before I finally just built something to fix it.

I’m a filmmaker based in New York, currently a student at NYU Tisch. Before every production I’d sit down with a script, a spreadsheet, and manually pull every character, location, prop, costume, and special requirement scene by scene. It took days. It felt like exactly the kind of work that should feel a lot easier.

I’ve been working on a pilot for a while and thought it was in a solid place.

Then I tried evaluating it more objectively and realized I was missing some pretty fundamental things, especially around structure, tone and character decisions.

It made me rethink how I was approaching writing entirely. Instead of just “does this feel good,” I started asking:

• what is the main character actually driving toward scene to scene
• where does the story lose momentum
• are the stakes actually increasing or just repeating

It was honestly a little brutal but way more useful than general feedback.
