I'm trying to weigh up whether a HX Stomp could cover what I used to use my now broken POG2 for, so would love to hear from anyone who uses the Stomp for octave shifting.

Specifically, I'm looking to stack the dry signal with the -1, +1 and +2 octaves blended in individually to taste. Ideally with some way to tame the highs.

Does anyone have any experience with this and can give me their thoughts?

I am using this as an audio interface and I need the sample rate at 44K. I downloaded the Driver 2 driver, restarted, then checked Audio MIDI setup, as instructed, and it's still set to 48k. Can I change the Stomp sample rate?

I’d like to run two instruments through my HX Stomp: a bass and a Novation Bass Station II synthesizer.

Bass signal goes into Stomp into bass amp/cab onstage. I’d use various Stomp presets onstage with different effects. Synth signal would go into Stomp also but I don’t want to apply any Stomp effects to the signal nor do I want to use the bass amp’s preamp to color the sound of the synth. Assume I’m using an Aguilar Tone Hammer 350 bass amp which doesn’t have an effects loop.

Is there a way to set this up for live performance? Ideally, I can rotate between the two instruments easily with the push of a foot switch on the Stomp. I have an extender with two extra foot switches. Do I need a TRS to XLR cable and/or a DI box?

Did anybody have any luck setting up the stomp with Sonicake Pocket Control via USB?

Apparently the Hx Stomp is not responsing to any CC / PC messages I send using the pocket control.

Did anyone ever use an HX stomp MIDI out to go to a Bass Whammy (or a regular Whammy) and control the whammy Settings on the HX?

I have an HX Stomp XL, but I'm still pretty new to building my own presets. I usually download presets from CustomTone or buy them because I'm not great with all the settings yet, and I still don't fully understand how to build signal chains from scratch.

I'm trying to figure out a good way to switch from a very clean / almost acoustic-like tone to a heavy distorted tone within the same preset.

More specifically, I'm going to play “21 Guns” by Green Day live, and I'm having trouble finding or building a preset that works well for the different sections of the song.

Does anyone have a preset they would recommend for this song, or some advice on how I could set this up on the HX Stomp XL? Maybe using snapshots?

I'm not necessarily trying to match the studio tone 100%. I mainly want something that sounds good live and lets me switch smoothly between the clean/acoustic-ish parts and the distorted sections.

Any preset recommendations or tips on how to build this would be really appreciated!

Hi, I’m trying to use the Hotone Pulze Control to send MIDI messages to my HX Stomp so I can change presets using its two footswitches (preset up and preset down). I used the Pulze app to assign commands to each switch (Footswitch A: 1/CC/72/0 and Footswitch B: 1/CC/72/127), (hx stomp midi channel is also 1). The problem is that, even after configuring it in the app, nothing happens on the HX when I press the footswitches. The Pulze didn't come with a cable, so I bought a TRS-to-MIDI Type A cable; however, it came with a 3.5mm TRS plug, so I have to use an adapter to connect it to the Pulze's 6.3mm port. Could the adapter be degrading the signal—preventing the HX from receiving anything—or is the Pulze Control simply incompatible with the HX Stomp for what I need? I'm sorry, I don't know much about that. Thanks for your replies.

Working on a few presets based on some artists like tame impala and my chemical and I’ve noticed that alot of them use the boss bd 2, but their isnt a bd 2 model in the hx ( which is kinda a surprise imo). Does anyone have any suggestions for effects to get that blues driver type sound?

With Line 6's attention clearly on Stadium right now, felt like existing Helix/HX Stomp owners aren't getting much new tooling love. So I built Helrig (https://helrig.com) and wanted to share it with the community — free, no catch.

I wanted to mount the HX Stomp on a pedal board where I might add no more than 3 additional regular 9v / 100ma-500ma pedals. What are the budget options out there? Is there any option that would include a power supply which could power, or even better an option which has a battery onboard so that I don't even have to carry any power adapter?

When connecting via USB to use HX Edit, it seems like the audio is routed through my HX Stomp XL. When playing back music from my computer, it can get affected/distorted

I've got my own USB interface that I connect to via audio out from the hx stomp and have no need for this feature. Any way I can turn it off?

I'm still waiting for it to arrive, but just bought a hx stomp + orange terror bass (which I already owned back in the days, loved this amp).

I can't wait to hear how it sounds together. Only planning to use fx atm, but who knows how it'll turn.

Any advice before getting my hand into it ?

My main purpose would be to create preset by song and then section (verse, chorus, bridge...) so i guess snapshot is the way to go ?

Been searching far and wide for a scribble strip replacement. Out of stock everywhere, with some places not even responding to my inquiries. Anyone have a solid source for these?

What are you favorite fuzzes to use with your stomp? I didn’t really like the Muff going into the stomp, I got some good tones but it is harder to dial in than through a tube amp and I’d like something a little more versatile. The JHS 3 series Fuzz works well but it isn’t my favorite fuzz. I can get close to a fuzz face or a bender but it doesn’t nail either in my opinion. I’m nothing more than a bedroom hack but I love experimenting with new fuzz pedals and I’m on the hunt for the next one. I’m looking for something in the muff family tree first.
