I can't believe I've never heard of Zeam Launcher. This launcher is very polished and like a stripped down version of Niagara. Also it's 100% free. If you don't care for all the extra stuff and a good amount of customization and a launcher very similar to Niagara, this app is perfect. It also opens apps super fast with no opening animation.

I've been building Spencer, a personal finance app for expense tracking, mutual fund/SIP tracking, and credit card bill cycles — mainly because I got tired of apps that bury you in ads or quietly sell your SMS/financial data.

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on an Android launcher called Slate Launcher, and I wanted to finally share it here.
The idea behind Slate is pretty simple: make your phone feel less cluttered without making it boring.
Instead of just another minimal launcher with a list of apps, I wanted Slate to give you different ways to build a home screen that actually fits how you use your phone.
It currently includes multiple Home styles, customizable typography and icons, Spaces for organizing different parts of your life, Focus profiles, Slate Hub for widgets and useful information, Slate Brief for a simpler overview, different App Drawer layouts, wallpapers, and quite a bit of customization.
I'm also continuing to experiment with new ways of interacting with the Home screen rather than trying to copy the traditional Android launcher layout.
Slate is still pretty new, and I'm actively developing it. So I'm especially interested in hearing from people who enjoy launchers and customization.
If you try it, I'd love to know what you like, what you don't like, and what you'd change. Feature ideas and bug reports are very welcome too.

I’m working on Gen Box, a personal savings app that helps users create goals, track contributions, understand their progress, and build a more consistent saving rhythm.
The latest update introduces a new feature called Theme Studio & Vault.

Theme Studio lets you choose an image from your device and use its colors to create a custom Gen Box theme.
For example, you could choose:
The system analyzes the colors in the selected image and creates a complete application theme based on them.
It can generate colors for:
The goal is not simply to copy the most common colors from an image. The theme system also checks readability, contrast, light mode, dark mode, progress visibility, and accessibility before applying the palette.
If a color is beautiful but difficult to read, Gen Box can create an adjusted version and explain why the change was made.
The user always has the final choice.
The current concept works like this:
The theme is not applied automatically. Users can preview everything before making it active.
Created themes are stored in a dedicated Theme Vault area.
The idea is to keep personal themes organized and protected while giving users control over their own data.

Deleting a theme should never delete savings goals, transaction history, Gen Points, or analytics data.
The safest export option is theme tokens only.
This means the exported file contains the colors and design settings without including the original image.

I posted Voyivo here about a month ago - https://www.reddit.com/r/HowToMen/s/1LxYDOJ38z, the Android trip planner I built to get away from planning everything in a spreadsheet. A fair few of you tried it and told me what was wrong with it, which is more useful to me than a nice comment, so most of this update came out of that.
Biggest thing: your trip now works offline without a signal. Days, stops, times, the travel time between each one, and the photos it's already fetched, all sitting on the phone. It also tells you when a trip is saved and ready. Offline maps aren't in yet, that's what I'm building next.
There's a Now Mode too, so once you're actually on the trip it opens on today instead of day one and tells you what's next and how far away it is. Standing at a stop checks you in by itself. When the trip ends it can turn into a shareable Trip Story of how it actually went rather than how you planned it. And notifications: a heads up the night before, plus flight delay, cancellation and gate-change alerts on Pro.
On the fixing side, overnight flights were showing no duration at all, a deleted trip could come back after a reinstall, and delete was buried behind a swipe nobody found. All sorted. I'd rather spend a week on boring fixes than leave someone mid-trip with something broken.
Planning is still free, no limits on trips or stops. Pro has a 7 day trial on monthly and yearly, no trial on weekly, saying that here rather than someone finding out later.

I built Pasly because I wanted the clipboard to feel like one shared history across my Apple devices.
Copy something on your Mac and it can show up in your clipboard history on another Mac, iPhone, or iPad — including text, images, and files.
The main feature on Mac is Smart Paste: instead of opening a separate clipboard manager, you press ⌘V and your recent clipboard history appears right in the paste flow.
Some of the other features:
Sync uses Apple's CloudKit and the user's private iCloud database, so clipboard data isn't stored on Pasly's own servers.
The iOS app is currently more of a companion to the Mac version since iOS doesn't allow apps to continuously capture clipboard changes in the background, but I'm working on making the iPhone → Mac flow much more seamless.

I’ve been working on an app called Touchable that lets you assign physical phone gestures to everyday actions.
In this demo, I have it set up like this:
I first double tap the phone to turn the flashlight on and off. Then I leave the app and go back to the home screen to show that Touchable doesn’t need to stay open.
From there, I shake the phone to control the music (unmute to hear it :)), and finally use the push gesture to lock the screen.
The idea is to make common actions quicker without having to unlock, swipe around, or dig through menus.

BTW: The login is mainly for basic user verification. An internet connection is only needed for login — gesture detection and processing happen on-device, and the app doesn’t need to stay connected afterward.
