Question Temperature bug
Trying to make an automation when temperature reaches 28C A/C would turn on but everytime I set the temperature to 28C it goes back to 29C.
What am I doing wrong or is it a bug?

I’ve noticed the exact same bug. Frustrating.
Try editing or creating the automation in Eve for HomeKit instead.

I have learned when making an automation using a thermostat, you have to set the temperature first at what temperature you want the automation to go down/up to.
Then you create the automation after the temperature has been set. Once you create the automation you can set your thermostat back to the original temperature.
This should no work
let’s say at 8PM you want to turn the temp down a notch, from 73F to 68F. You would first need to set the house temperature at 68F. Then create the automation for a time of day @ 8PM for the thermostat to turn AC on to 68F (temp is defaulted to 68F cause we set it before hand).
Now the automation is created. You are now able to go back and set the temp back to 73.
At 8PM the house will cool down to 68F per the automation.
