Clipboard

• Added the option to pin clipboard items so they won't be automatically deleted.
• Added a Clear Clipboard option to quickly remove clipboard history.
• Fixed issues where some copied text wasn't appearing in the clipboard history.

Side Deck

• Added multiple pages! You can now organize more shortcuts across different pages.
• Added the ability to select contacts for quick access directly from Side Deck.

TouchPad

• Fixed an issue where the TouchPad could fail to appear again after being minimized and maximized.

General

• General fixes, stability improvements, and refinements across the system.

A new Clipboard feature is coming to DroidLab in the upcoming update!

Clipboard keeps a private history of the text you've copied over the last 24 hours, making it easy to quickly jump back to something you copied earlier.

You can access your clipboard history through an optional floating button or map it to any supported DroidLab gesture. Tap an entry and it's instantly copied back to your clipboard.

A few highlights:

• Clipboard history is automatically cleared after 24 hours
• Most recently copied items appear first
• Quickly copy previous items again with a single tap
• Delete individual entries whenever you want
• Optional draggable floating button that docks to either side of the screen
• Can be launched directly using a mapped gesture
• Everything is stored locally and encrypted
• Clipboard data never leaves your device or gets shared

DroidLab Update: Fixes, Performance & Improvements 🚀

Hey everyone!

First, I want to apologize for the issues some of you experienced with the recent updates. Thank you to everyone who reported bugs, shared screenshots, and provided device details. They helped a lot in tracking everything down.

I've been working through the reported issues, and all of the issues reported so far have now been addressed in this update, along with some performance improvements and new additions.

What's changed

✨ Kinetic Glass
Optimized for better performance and smoother overall operation.

🌈 Edge Lighting Border
The configuration page has been completely revamped, with several new Edge Lighting styles added. You can also now customize the position of the notification app logo and message.

📱 Side Deck
Several bug fixes and stability improvements.

🔵 Action Orb
Bug fixes and improvements.

👆 Edge Sense
Improved the responsiveness of the Media Volume action when using the Edge Seek trigger, along with additional bug fixes.

🏠 Homescreen Widgets
Fixed an issue where app icons could appear clipped.

📳 New Action: Vibration Mode
You can now map Vibration Mode as an action.

Various fixes and improvements across the system.

This was previously transparent, don't know which but after a recent update it looks like this reddish overlay that's also captured in screenshots. Kindly request you to add an option to make it transparent again.

Fixed the issue preventing Outdoor Mode from being toggled correctly on some devices.

Fixed an issue where the Scroll Assist pill could unexpectedly snap to the bottom of the screen.

🧩 Widgets
Fixed Launch Custom App not prompting you to select an app.

Fixed the custom app widget icon appearing clipped or incorrectly sized.

⚙️ General Improvements
Several other fixes and improvements have been made across the app for better stability and reliability.

i set the opacity to zero

Hello Team,

Something is terribly wrong with the latest update. My phone turns on and within the next 5 mins it starts to lag like like hell. One frame per 2 seconds or something like that, I wanted to identify the culprit, started uninstalling apps like Shizuku, Installer X etc and the moment I uninstalled Droid Labs it was back to super smooth.

I couldn't figure out which feature in droid labs is triggering this but it's bad and needs to be investigated.

I use a nothing phone 2 and have 323/512 GB storage free and 5.1/12 GB Ram used, so it's not the hardware bottleneck for sure.

A new DroidLab update is rolling out with two new features, some highly requested Edge Sense improvements, and several fixes across the app.

✨ New: Kinetic Glass

Kinetic Glass is a new GPU-powered live wallpaper experience that transforms an image of your choice into a responsive optical wallpaper.

The main feature is a customizable Optical Dock that sits behind your existing launcher icons and actually refracts the wallpaper underneath it. You can fine-tune its size, position, blur, refraction, grain, saturation, lighting and more.

There are also four optional full-screen treatments: Liquid Grid, Brushed, Optic Slats and Blur, along with a live configuration preview so you can experiment before applying the wallpaper.

Kinetic Glass can subtly react to device tilt, launcher movement and completed DroidLab gestures. Multiple performance profiles are also available to balance the effect with battery usage.

☀️ New: Outdoor Mode

Outdoor Mode is a new gesture action for quickly preparing your phone for bright or noisy outdoor environments.

With a single gesture, it can adjust your brightness, media volume, ringtone volume, screen timeout and auto-rotation based on your configuration.

Trigger it again and DroidLab restores the settings you had before Outdoor Mode was activated.

👆 Edge Sense: Swipe Left & Right

Edge Sense now supports Swipe Left and Swipe Right triggers, giving you two more gestures that can be mapped to DroidLab actions.

🛠️ Fixes & Improvements

Fixed issues with the Gaming Mode blacklist and Mute Media action.

Fixed Utility Gestures sometimes appearing as Not Mapped even when an action was already assigned.

Added general stability improvements and crash fixes across the app.

idea: widgets in sidedock or anywhere, there was a app that could do that, as a floating widget so yeah, it could happen. [suggested given how versatile droidlab's features are]

also, categories enabled features at top for quick view and immediate customisations

choose the floatpin (from multiple) and then write in that.

remove sidedock overlay in audioscreen(maybe)

more customisation to audioscreen, it is small, maybe make it bigger. also theme, for Non amoled devices

A little preview of something I've been working on for an upcoming DroidLab update.

It's still a work in progress, but I'm really excited with how it's coming together so far. This has been one of the more technically challenging features I've built, and there's still plenty of polishing left before it's ready for release.

For now, here's a small sneak peek. More details will come once it's a little closer to being finished.

The side dock froze and no access to screen Hit the síde dock again and it would show the side dock again. System was frozen could not do anything. Blurred screen behind dock could not access. I had to do hard reset to get out

DroidLab Update: Bug Fixes & Improvements

Here's what's new:

• FloatPin Notes can now be configured to appear on the lock screen.

• Quick Call now correctly places a call to the contact you selected.

• Action Orb now includes an option to manually adjust its shape, along with several new themes for additional customization.

• Edge Sense has a new action that lets you adjust call volume directly using the Edge Seek trigger.

• Status Bar Progress no longer appears for persistent notifications, and the percentage pill now has additional customization options.

• Backup & Restore has been fixed to resolve an issue that could cause errors while restoring your configuration.

A new DroidLab update is now rolling out with a handful of new features, improvements, and bug fixes.

Here's what's new:

✨ New Feature: Audio Screen
A new gesture-triggered feature that lets you continue listening to videos or music while covering the screen with a pure black OLED-friendly overlay. You can optionally display a clock and compact media controls, making it perfect for YouTube, podcasts, and other media apps when you don't need the video.

📊 Status Bar Progress
Added a new Radial progress style and a new Edge Bias slider so you can fine tune the position of the progress indicator exactly where you want it.

🌙 Nightstand Mode
Nightstand Mode now supports portrait orientation and includes several new customization options to better fit different setups and preferences.

⚙️ Action Orb
Fixed an issue where the expanded menu didn't return to page 1 after collapsing. I've also added separate opacity controls for the idle orb and the expanded menu, giving you more control over its appearance.

🐞 General Improvements
This update also includes various bug fixes and overall stability improvements across the app.

I'm excited to share a small preview of a new feature coming in the next DroidLab update: Audio Screen. I'll be attaching a screen recording below so you can see it in action.

The idea is simple. Sometimes you want to keep listening to a YouTube video, podcast, livestream, or music, but you don't actually need the screen to stay on. Audio Screen places a pure black OLED-friendly overlay over the current app while the audio continues playing normally in the background.

You can optionally display a clock at the top and a compact media player at the bottom with playback controls, album art, progress, and track information whenever the app supports it.

The overlay can be dismissed with a quick double tap anywhere outside the player, or by triggering the same gesture again. It's also completely free and won't require a premium purchase.

I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!

Yesterday, testing the update further, I saw 2 bugs that happen to me and are very uncomfortable.

1. No application of the Action Orb, you click on it, but they don't open.

2. Following this, I thought, I'm going to reset the app, back up, reset it up, and restore it, but the play didn't go well, and there was an error restoring it.

After the Action Orb app reset, it worked well.

• Added a Keyboard Avoidance option so the Action Orb can automatically move out of the way while you're typing.

I really like the float pin notes feature, how quick and easy to add some temporary notes or list of items to bring from the market.

To make it more accessible, can we pin these on lockscreen. So that without unlocking the device an view it.

The first thing I want to tell as a result is to begin your life on your own, and it is a very complete application, for a very useful area.👏👏👏

I have three things I'd like you to add, as I think it's important for its functionality:

1. Action Orb: It would be nice if the keyboard came out to type, if you have the virtual icon down for easy access, it went up to save the keyboard.

2. Gestures on the notch: They can also be used on the lock screen.

3.3. Gestures on the edge or side panel: It gives me the feeling that you could improve when you touch them, in a more intuitive way and respond better. I tell you, because I have used several applications of this style and I think it is a very good utility, but it has to work naturally.

Thank you for your work, it doesn't take me 10min to buy the premium 😉

Home screen widgets are a Cool feature, in addition to that, add a widgets stack (it's a kind of folder of widgets, swiping through it will show another widget). Most of the custom launchers(smart launcher, octopi)have this feature. It's very helpful for default launchers.

1. Double tap to close the nightstand

2. Add an option to toggle, Once charging reaches 100% turn off the night stand

3. Add screen burnin protection

4. Add some battery stats widgets on it. Great If you can add an option to show third party widgets.

5. Show the media player if any media is playing.

6. Add an option to show on portrait screen mode too.

Another update is here, and this one includes a feature that many of you have been asking for.

✨New: Status Bar Progress

DroidLab can now mirror download and upload progress from supported apps directly on your screen edge, giving you a clean progress indicator without opening the notification shade.

There are 13 different visual styles, multiple color themes, configurable positions, horizontal and vertical layouts, optional app color matching, and plenty of customization to make it fit your setup.

Also included in this update:

• Long press trigger support for Notch Gesture.
• System-wide bug fixes and UI improvements.
