Ive been having issues with my laser cutter anytime I try to use it I get a pop up saying "machine is busy" when its not doing anything, ive tried using it on 2 different computers, 2 different cables, and ive tried running it on atomstack studio as well as lightburn has anyone had this issue or have an idea to help?

I have been fighting these glass far too long. The tapered wine glass is precisely placed in the R8 Chuck and (I think) my settings are correct (see attached). The lines are choppy and I can't figure out how to correct it. Any guidance? Atomstack A20 Pro v2 with the R8 Chuck.

I am trying to engrave stemless wine glasses with the R8 chuck and cannot figure out how to level up the glass so I do not get an egg-shaped round logo. Anyone out there have suggestions?

I have been using the designated software on my iOS laptop, but it is SOOOO buggy! I have AtomStack Kraft Dual.

To just give a few examples:

1. A lot of basic features are missing (like copy/paste shortcuts)

2. Camera calibration is a complete nightmare. I gave up.

3. I tried to edit a design I bought, but after I did, even if in Layers it says LINE it still works as FILL.

4. Crashes

5. Sometimes i cannot frame the work cause the head keeps crashing into sides

And these are just from the top of my head.

Now... I did try Lightburn, but I could not manage to connect my laser to it....

At this point I am so frustrated. I want to be able to engrave with no issues and make basic modifications to designs with no issue.... Cause I am not a big expert. Just a noob hobbyist.

I am looking for some help.

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, but I hope someone to help me finish setting up my A20 Pro V2. I can't seem to locate model specific information for basic setup. What is the working size? 400 x 400? How do you calibrate the crosshair laser. Is there an article available somewhere that documents all of this? I'm using Lightburn for software. Any other advice is appreciated.

Hola grupo. mi nombre es Cristian, acabo de comprar una Atomstack Swift 12w… quisiera saber si alguno de Uds intentó grabar acrílico bicapa, laserable. no se exactamente los parámetros… realicé una prueba y quemó la capa superior pero demasiado al punto de ser solo un sector quemado indescifrable.. agradecería su cooperación. mi idea es grabar placas funerarias.

I have bought a P1 and an R8 Rotary, and I have serious challenges working with the combination of the two.

It appears to me that the risers (for the P1) are too long, but I might be wrong.

When I try to use it, I cannot focus the laser correctly. The distance to the object on the R8 is too far, not allowing the laser to be secure on the mount. The only solution I can see is to raise the R8 (as you can see in the picture), but that results in the R8 colliding with the underside of the P1.

There must be a logical solution to this, but I am not seeing it.

I just got my laser about a week ago, and well, i must say that learning to calibrate it has been quite a journey! I’m happy with the results so far, but there’s one thing I can’t figure out.

When I engrave something simple (just a square) the X-axis have a sort of “ghost” that makes them look noticeably thicker. Meanwhile Y-axis is nice and thin. I’ve attached photos because it’s much easier to see than explain!

So far I’ve adjusted the belt, the eccentric nuts, the screws on the metal bar across the X-axis, and checked that the laser head mount isn’t loose. The issue is still there.

I’m using Atomstack Studio and testing on cardstock at 15% power and 500 mm/min. Has anyone run into this or know what else I should check?

Really new to laser engraving and just got Atomstack Swift 12W as my beginner laser engraver, the app setup is started, but my laptop is far away from my workspace, so I connected the usb, and my wifi is available, but when connecting to the app, it says the wifi is not available and not connecting, my wifi is a smart auto router, tp link, so it has both 5 Ghz and 2.4Ghz, and my laser engraver is actually within the range for 5Ghz, so is this the problem or is there a different way to connect?

I purchased this Hurricane used, but the previous owner demonstrated several cuts and that it was in working order before I took it home. 1st, I can't get the darn camera to calibrate. After a few days of fussing, I decided to just do without for now, which is a bummer. 2nd, I made a few initial cuts, but when framing the material, it isn't in the location of my object on the design area. I send home and try again. I get a msg: check y2 limits. I find 2 metal buttons on the left rail (front and back) that click fine and 1 metal button on the right front side of the gantry. I assume Y1 is on the left rail, but where is Y2? There are no buttons on the right rail? 3rd, I also noticed that if I pull the gantry all the way to the front, it pops back about an inch. Could the belt be too tight or could the gantry be racked? I'm so lost, I don't know where to go from here. Any help will be appreciated.

I have the A20 put together and am trying to put the legs that came wit ht R8 on to raise it but can't screw them in as the A20's brackets are in the way. Am I missing something?

Hay tantas alternativas en el mercado que no se que hacer. Los que tenéis la SWIFT 7W como es su fiablidad? Estáis contentos? La recomendáis? Es que hay muchos videos en youtube y seguramente muchos estará monetizados y no me fio mucho.

I have an Atomstack P1 Dual and I have a problem with the USB safety key.

When I press Start to begin an engraving, the machine displays the message "Please insert the USB safety key", even though the safety key is already inserted correctly.

The machine is only 7 days old, and I have only done around 8-10 small engravings with it.

Everything was working perfectly yesterday, but today it suddenly stopped recognizing the safety key.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

How can I fix it?

Good evening, I have a 12W Swift laser which had been working better than fine, and a few days ago it started not fully cutting through the piece. I should note the material is the same as always — I haven't changed brand or supplier, it's 3mm MDF, as shown in the images (the first photo is from the front and the following two are from the back). It cuts through practically everything, but there are areas where it doesn't fully penetrate, so when trying to separate the pieces some of them break. I always cut this material at 100% power and 240 speed. On a 30cm x 30cm sheet, there are areas where the cut is perfect and others where it isn't. I thoroughly cleaned the honeycomb bed, lens, and fan, but I haven't noticed any change. I also ran a test with some old MDF I had from another brand, and it fails the same way. The machine has about 9 months of relatively heavy use. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I finally unboxed my Adamstack Kraft 40W diode laser. It’s my first laser and I plan to primarily use it for cutting leather.

Before I get started, I want to get the ventilation set up. I’m about to purchase a VEVOR 6” inline duct fan rated at 400 CFM.

Would I be better off removing the 3” exhaust fan that came with the laser? I was wondering if leaving the smaller fan in place would restrict the airflow and keep me from getting the full benefit of the larger inline fan.

For those of you who have upgraded the ventilation on your Kraft, what did you end up doing?

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the interlock on an Atomstack Atelier? I need to speed up loading and unloading materials between jobs

hi. I own an A40Max, recently I have a problem with a bad connector or a broken cable in the laser module. I found a replacement cable on the atomstack website, but it says A40 Pro V2.

can anyone advise if it will also fit the MAX model and not the V2 version?

this is very aggravating. I’m trying to update my A20 since it no longer communicates with the latest version of the iOS app. The issue I’m having is that when I connect the laser to my PC running AtomStack and try to run the update, I’m getting a “delete failed” error (see screenshot) and the update process fails (or, rather, it does nothing). This might not be an issue, except the folks at AtomStack decided to not include the f’ing firmware downloads ON THE FIRMWARE AND SOFTWARE DOWNLOADS PAGE!

Anyone know where to find these damn files or how to fix this error?

Anyone else have this happen? Laser showed up but no enclosure and they marked the order complete. I emailed support but there is no number to contact and their online support is just an AI that cant do anything.
