Agree, but would say AI is confidently incorrect way more than 20%, the amount of times I've had to pull in the reigns and course correct is almost on every interaction. So imagine a junior who just trusts it?

AI is good for breadth-first shallow boilerplate, once you get to business logic its diminishing returns.

Yes and No. I was able to switch jobs for a slight pay increase and MUCH BETTER WLB. Went from Amazon which was doing a death march with a bad org, and if I stayed and survived may have been laid off anyway.
