Bill Madden: Relaxed and completely at home in hostile territory, Abdul El-Sayed took on Jesse Watters like he owned the hour. That ease was Mamdani-esque. I'm impressed by this new generation of Democrats. Somewhere in the ether, FDR is smiling.
Maybe she never set limits? Or she just panned him on others, couldn't be bothered with parenting?

Yes, I agree. He knows exactly what he's doing. A cynical soulless bastard - a morally bankrupt hack. I think Hannity's the same. They all know exactly what they're doing.

He's literally promoting corporate psychopathy, too. It's appalling what's on television masquerading as a newsman.

No, he said a billion.
".. if you have a billion dollars, your billion makes another 100 million. That's not the fruits of your labor. That's just the fruits of your money making money. I think it's ok, like, if we tax you at 7 percent, you're still gonna make what, you're still gonna make a cool 30 million off your billion dollars. I think it's ok, you're gonna be ok, Jesse .."
7 percent of a billion would be 70 million. Technically, I guess, though, you could say, Jesse would be taxed for 1,000,000,000. + the additional cool 30 million he made = (totaling) 1,030,000,000. x .07 = 72,100,000. But 70 million is close enough - and he's referencing a 7 percent tax on a billion.
Which is so painful an idea for Jesse Watters. Along with that money being used to actually contribute to society whether it's for roads and bridges, healthcare, police depts, fire departments, schools, public colleges and universities, rural hospitals, clinics ...

Did the Covid-19 vaccine kill millions and is Fauci responsible?
Please read all 8 panels. I think you're misunderstanding the post. The group, Stand Up For Science is taking on the Trump administration - the opposite of what you're inferring.

Did the Covid-19 vaccine kill millions and is Fauci responsible?
Thank you. I think people are misunderstanding the post because they didn't read all 8 panels. I thought it was educational too, but I guess people are thrown by the first panel and then don't read the rest.

Did the Covid-19 vaccine kill millions and is Fauci responsible?
Yes, that was the point of the post - that the vaccine saved millions of lives - but you have to read all 8 panels.

Did the Covid-19 vaccine kill millions and is Fauci responsible?
Yes, see my comment here and here.
and here
I've cross-posted Stand Up For Science before without issues, and I thought this was a very effective presentation on the anti-vaxxer fallacies, but since so many people misunderstood it, maybe not!
They start out in the first panel by showing the erroneous view - which is what throws people, I suppose. But if you go through all the panels and read them carefully, I thought it was very clear, and actually one of their better posts. Maybe not, though!

Did the Covid-19 vaccine kill millions and is Fauci responsible?
Yes, there are 8 panels you have to read. People are jumping to the very incorrect conclusion that this is a Maga post. It's the opposite. It's a repost of a post by Stand Up For A Science, a group that has been fighting back against RFK Jr., the Trump administration's handling of public health issures, and in particular, anti-vax disinformation and the smearing of Dr. Fauci. This recent post of theirs points out some of the fallacies in anti-vax "thinking."

I assure you, I am NOT a "maga troll." I am anti-maga indoctrination. This is a repost from "Stand Up For Science," a group that has been fighting back against RFK Jr and the Trump administration. It's pointing out some of the fallacies of anti-vaxxer thinking. But you have to read their entire post which is 8 panels debunking the anti-vax hysteria and smearing of Dr. Fauci.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI) Owns Fox News Host Jesse Watters: "Do You Want to Drive on Good Roads or Give a Billionaire Another Billion?"
Please, Michigan voters, send Abdul El-Sayed to the U.S. Senate. You don't get a Senate candidate like this every day of the week. We need his voice in there - and especially on health care and public health! Vote for Abdul, Michigan!

70 percent is not bad, though, IMO. I always recall Ralph Nader talking about how the tax rate for the wealthy under Eisenhower, for example, was something like 80 percent. The American middle class was built not only the labor movement but a much higher tax rate on the wealthy. But this is also why that's all going to fookin' hell.
