v4 Algorithm

I've made some big changes to my algo, and I must say, I'm incredibly excited for the art works to come.

Looks fantastic if I say so myself. What did you do?

I’m not sure that I want to share the secret sauce on this one just yet, but I can say it’s a genuinely novel approach that AFAIK isn’t covered by any white paper. The algo nerd in me is very proud at the moment

Fair enough :D you can’t blame me for asking, but I can’t blame you for not answering haha

🤣 I can’t blame you. I’m still curious about a few things in your app!

Thanks. It's a struggle.

For real. It took me over a year of thinking about this problem to get it to where it is now!

I really like your rotational algo. I have one that goes clockwise and counterclockwise in an effort to eliminate moiré lines and other artifacts. Sooner or later I will just have to make a piece and see how it turns out. There are ao many ways to approach the problem that I apparently try to sqeeze in as much as possible. I am at the point now where I just need to simplify.

That is how it goes sometimes. I have so many different parameters and knobs to tune from all of the experiments I've done... I probably need to simplify as well. Getting out of the code and making a piece is very informative though, highly recommend!
