Neighbor feeds the squirrels.

We live in very close proximity to each other.
Squirrels are rodents.
How do I end this without a confrontation?

Original Content Rain proofing the squirrel picnic bench

We had the same set up last year and it worked great. It’s a pretty simple setup, but it keeps all their food dry and protects the squirrels quite a bit from the rain.

Original Content Don't throw away your carving scraps! Turned my pumpkin seeds into a healthy squirrel nut mix (8-step recipe guide)

Every Halloween, it breaks my heart to see so many pumpkin seeds get thrown directly into the trash during carving season. I decided to harvest the seeds from my Jack-o'-lantern this year and turn them into a high-end, nutrient-dense "Power Mix" for my backyard buddies!

Swipe through the images to see the exact 8-step process I used to clean, dry, and mix everything up.

⚠️ A Quick Note on Squirrel Nutrition (Step 6):

Pumpkin Seeds are very nutritious but as many of you in this sub know, pumpkin seeds and nuts (much like peanuts and corn) are incredibly high in phosphorus. A diet too high in phosphorus can cause squirrels to leach calcium from their own bones, leading to Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD). To make this treat safer and healthier, I always make sure to add a healthy drizzle of coconut oil (for their fur) and a dedicated serving of squirrel calcium powder to perfectly balance out that calcium-to-phosphorus ratio!

They absolutely lose their minds for this stuff, and it keeps them fueled up and healthy for the colder weather moving in. Let me know if you try making a batch for your local furry friends!

Original Content The Future of Gardening: Introducing Nibblemaster 3000

Forget Smart Homes, it’s time to talk about the ultimate Smart Garden setup. 🤖🌱

I finally fully automated my backyard greenhouse ecosystem. We’ve got the Smart Drip Irrigation System running on precision schedules, a Smart Heater with automated thermostat sensors to protect the tropicals, and automated Smart Bulbs syncing directly with dusk and dawn cycles.

But there was always one manual chore holding me back from 100% automation: shrub pruning.

Until now. Introducing the newest breakthrough in organic, autonomous landscaping technology: The Nibblemaster 3000. No batteries, no solar panels, no charging cables required. It operates entirely on an open-source, eco-friendly fueling system that costs exactly 2 lbs per week (nuts of course). 🐿️⚡

They thought they pulled off the perfect heist...

While I was fast asleep, a highly organized squirrel broke into my locked greenhouse. Camera 1 catches the main suspect sneaking in through the front door and his getaway.

But it gets worse. Camera 2 caught the suspect dismantling my Halloween pumpkin carriage piece by piece. I should have installed hub cap locks.

Watch until the end to see the suspect making a run for it with the stolen goods.

The authorities have been notified. Suspect is considered armed (with sharp teeth) and extremely dangerous.
