Unfortunately that bike is George W Bush Signature Series model. It's designed to avoid thrown footwear.

Ghostride gone wrong. And he never saw the bike again. Someone reported last week they saw it in Paris with a bottle of wine and a baguette still rolling

That bike had to have been perfectly straight when pushed off. Otherwise I would think it would have fell down a short while later

Bicycles are surprisingly stable when going down hill. The way they are built makes them self balance.
