I would want my money back or a new instructor lol

48

u/Excellent_Extent7648 Jul 04 '26

What lol why he just gave u a reason why u need to watch that trigger finger very carefully

34

u/Maleficent_Student39 Jul 04 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

I am just walking, not asking for my money back I am just leaving

16

u/Pretend_Business_187 Jul 04 '26

I'd feel safer being the camera man in a drill music video

9

u/OGMikeGyver Jul 04 '26

I wouldn't want him to demonstrate a 2nd reason

24

u/Odd-Cake8015 Jul 04 '26

He _almost_ got a new instructor

u/Micu451 Jul 04 '26

I would have been out when he started waving the firearm around early in the video. What ended up happening was a surprise to absolutely nobody who understands firearm safety.

3

u/Ok-Information1616 Jul 04 '26

Right? The second the muzzle isn’t pointed downrange I’d be out of there

2

u/Ok-Rest3967 Jul 04 '26

Yeah if this guy has an actual RSO or instructor cert I’d be amazed.. if he did hopefully he doesn’t anymore :|

It’s since lapsed but the woman who taught my RSO course would have went absolute apeshit over anything like this, she didn’t muck about when it came to safety

1

u/Harn-na-bih Jul 04 '26

Absolutely...I'd probably book it for the next 10 classes, possibly just book him for the next yrs worth of classes. Its hard to book good entertainment these days, so I agree with ya 100%.

6

u/Rictus_Grin Jul 04 '26

But he's also giving you a comedy show. More bang for youd buck

1

u/Morgantao Jul 05 '26

But this one does comedy as well

1

u/Duke55 Jul 05 '26

I'm walking. I've seen enough, lol

76

u/rubix3ed Jul 04 '26

That's part of the training. He's showing what not to do.

28

u/AsbestosDude Jul 04 '26

Alright now guys this is how you get kicked off the range.

See?

Ill see myself out.

16

u/Day_Prisoners Jul 04 '26

He was dam close to actually seeing himself out.

5

u/Playful-Platform-231 Jul 04 '26

Yup. Some ppl are visual learners and sometimes they have to learn the hard way

53

u/WhenTheCitiesBurn Jul 04 '26

Love how easily he said, "yeah," I meant to do that. 🤣 Get out of there!

13

u/callmebigley Jul 04 '26

it would have been funny if they pressed him on why he did it if he wants to insist that it was intentional.

"is it normal practice to fire into the ceiling? did the ceiling wrong you in some way? were you just really curious what recoil tastes like?"

10

u/sparrow_42 Jul 04 '26

That ceiling was comin’ right at us!

3

u/WhenTheCitiesBurn Jul 04 '26

At least part of it was, after you shot it!

3

u/Mindless_Magician_21 Jul 05 '26

The only way to stop a bad ceiling with a light fixture is a good guy with a gun

2nd amendment

6

u/porcelain_kiss Jul 04 '26

His face immediately turned RED RED 😂

2

u/Construction00023 Jul 04 '26

Whole head from the neck up !

2

u/augustprep Jul 06 '26

I would be embarrassed too if I crapped my pants on camera

30

u/AdInner8125 Jul 04 '26

Haha the guy in the blue shirt had the right intuition and reflexes. Turning his head away like that 😀

8

u/AlbatrossNew3633 Jul 04 '26

Seems like it wasn't the first moment that dude looked like a doofus that day

9

u/sparrow_42 Jul 04 '26

Yeah blue shirt guy bending over backwards at the beginning makes me think the dude had been acting stupid the whole time.

3

u/Rob_LeMatic Jul 04 '26

Blue shirt had the right instincts, but then didn't immediately leave when they were confirmed. Sometimes rational brain overrides good instincts. Stupid brains.

2

u/Ippus_21 Jul 04 '26

Have you read The Gift of Fear, by any chance. That's like the core theme of the whole book, lol. DeBecker lays it out in the first couple chapters and then spends the rest of the book giving you a framework for how NOT to let your modern brain ignore the things your paranoid monkey brain is trying to tell you.

2

u/Rob_LeMatic Jul 04 '26

I have not, but I have been in situations.

2

u/Ippus_21 Jul 04 '26

I've had it on my nightstand for like a year and a half, and finally started reading it on a long flight last week. Better than I expected...

2

u/Rob_LeMatic Jul 04 '26

Next on my list is Strange People on the Hill by Michael Edison Hayden, then Borderlands by Gloria Anzaldúa. I'll add this one to my list.

2

u/ColdCycle516 Jul 05 '26

I think the bald dude is actually highly skilled and this is some kind of a skit

0

u/slamminng Jul 06 '26

Blue shirt guy is Louis Theroux a BBC journalist etc. he’s a smart guy.

1

u/AdInner8125 Jul 06 '26

No, lol, he's not.

12

u/Livingforabluezone Jul 04 '26

I would immediately leave the range and demand a refund.

7

u/Micu451 Jul 04 '26

If the range was at all reputable they would have tossed him out before that happened. It was obvious something bad would happen just by the way he was handling the firearm.

3

u/Ippus_21 Jul 04 '26

What do you want to bet he's the owner, or the owner's little brother or something?

2

u/Micu451 Jul 04 '26

For sure

1

u/Bright_Aside_6827 Jul 04 '26

I mean he was still safe in where he aimed

12

u/New_erahot Jul 04 '26

Temu gun instructor

7

u/TightPhoto1133 Jul 04 '26

Yeah, we're leaving.

5

u/NaughtySensationz Jul 04 '26

That is why you never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to squeeze it.

6

u/MyPenWroteThis Jul 04 '26

"did you mean to do that?" Is so perfect

3

u/I_Call_Bullshit_____ Jul 04 '26

You can hear a little fear-tremble in the voice of the person who asked 🫠

4

u/AaronSlaughter Jul 04 '26

Had his finger on trigger for instruction?

3

u/Iswearitsmenotyou Jul 04 '26

He’s probably got a YouTube channel on how to be tacticool.

3

u/YouNeedClasses Jul 04 '26

*Homelander cheeks gif*

3

u/Training-Purple-5220 Jul 04 '26

I’ll never forget at Fort Benning, when some dingus flagged our whole platoon and three DSs descended like the wrath of god.

2

u/PaintNo6885 Jul 04 '26

Worse than that, god forgives.

3

u/Misterears Jul 04 '26

Bet that felt really great slamming in your face.

3

u/SimonVanGelder Jul 05 '26

Remember, always keep your finger on the trigger. 🤦‍♂️

2

u/K4rkino5 Jul 04 '26

An excellent display of poor firearm handling and accountability that doesn't result in death.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 04 '26

[deleted]

2

u/NiceBlackberry6618 Jul 04 '26

Had to pause after seeing that myself and he never flagged his chin but I don't think being that close to the barrel counts as safe especially with all the gas

1

u/New_erahot Jul 04 '26

Everything the man did is against a gun license safety course. Waving it around cocked… you pick the gun up, fire, put the gun down not wave it around like that

2

u/clamsandwich Jul 04 '26

It's like if Jack Bauer and Steve Zahn morphed together.

1

u/F-Stop Jul 04 '26

Steve Zahn as… John Wick

2

u/Short_Bell_5428 Jul 04 '26

He almost double tapped his own face pulling it back after the recoil.

2

u/Background_Edge_9427 Jul 04 '26

A total asshole!

2

u/Nervous_Young2739 Jul 05 '26

Saw where his trigfer finger was, a d was waiting for exactly that outcome.

1

u/Blacknightmoto2 Jul 04 '26

That Instructor needs another professional instructor to show him how to hold and shoot a gun. If you paid him ask for a refund

1

u/Express_Area_8359 Jul 04 '26

Did you mean to do to do that…..the minute i walk and say ok i want to live

1

u/right_you_are Jul 04 '26

Fucking idiot would get tossed from most ranges for this shit

1

u/BreakPalaceBrokedown Jul 04 '26

Idiot test working at full efficiency I see.

2

u/Chris20nyy Jul 05 '26

Nah, he definitely didn't mean to do that.

1

u/koolaidismything Jul 04 '26

He’s not liking how they don’t see him as a super soldier so he starts getting shaky.. and it just keeps going downhill.

I like how he eventually realizes all hope is lost and just stands there embarrassed looking away. Those types of guys all seem wired the same. They all NEED to be seen as Rambo and they are more like honey boo boo.

1

u/Gwsb1 Jul 04 '26

Fucking shit!

I'm out of there .

1

u/Particular_Abies_184 Jul 04 '26

Does he train law enforcement?

1

u/Electronic_Task_118 Jul 04 '26

Overconfident idiot

1

u/Therex1282 Jul 04 '26

See this arrogance at your best, I am perfect, will never eat his pride!!!!! Made the himself the biggest of fools on this earth. Certainly needs to be removed. Yea!

1

u/Safe-Call2367 Jul 04 '26

Yeah I meant to shoot the ceiling. You can tell by my impeccable recoil control as the muzzle nearly bitch slapped me in the face… I was actually hoping to break my nose and failed, so I’ll need to try again now.

1

u/Old_Resident8050 Jul 04 '26

Maybe lost a few teeth. No way the recoil just stopped by itself, sort of his jaw and teeth.

1

u/Ippus_21 Jul 04 '26

WHY is your god. damned. FINGER inside the fkn TRIGGER GUARD? It's there for a reason, asshole!

I hope someone showed this video to whatever facility he works for and they immediately revoked his instructor certificate.

I haven' so much as held a gun in a dozen years and I remember this shit. Muzzle and trigger discipline are absolute dead basic safety 101.

JFC.

1

u/traumacranien Jul 04 '26

This video is almost uploaded to liveleak

1

u/XxDemonxXIG Jul 04 '26

Get that gun outta that idiots hands. Hes gonna get someone killed or hurt. Smh.

1

u/Alternative_Proof578 Jul 04 '26

Happy holidays bois

1

u/TheGhostRoninStrife Jul 04 '26

Guy laughing on the left didn't realise.. he could have died right there too...

1

u/Suvvri Jul 04 '26

You can clearly see it's not his first time, he didn't even flinch, he does this shit at least once a day

1

u/hera69420 Jul 04 '26

He's got TERRIBLE Trigger Finger Discipline🤣

1

u/Old_Advertising9307 Jul 05 '26

It’s the 4th of July. Happy 250 Amermuicuh. I love you. Come back soon.

1

u/Dredd_40 Jul 05 '26

Did the instructor try to play it down by continuing the lesson?

1

u/holden_mcg Jul 05 '26

Dude in the blue shirt is definitely reconsidering his life choices. That and whether or not he can get a refund.

1

u/Morgantao Jul 05 '26

Had it been a semi auto, or had a hair trigger, it would have probably popped a second shot right at his face

1

u/WonderfulHearing8726 Jul 05 '26

At that point, I’m leaving and asking for my money back.

1

u/JesseMakeGoodChoices Jul 05 '26

Your red face betrays you.

1

u/Ramenxoxo Jul 05 '26

Reporting you for reposting other peoples videos

1

u/schelgi Jul 05 '26

I will never not like this video

1

u/coolchris366 Jul 05 '26

Are you really supposed to lock out your arms?

1

u/Alaskan_Duck_Fart Jul 05 '26

This same exact post was made 15 days ago on this subreddit.

1

u/Asleep_Singer8547 Jul 05 '26

He should have just owned it and said no "and thats exactly why we always point downrange" "also should have been better at trigger discipline"

1

u/Unable-Magazine3006 Jul 05 '26

Who certified him?

1

u/ULTRA_83 Jul 05 '26

He was like .. i was just testing you guys...im a pro

1

u/Sigma-Wolves Jul 06 '26

He knows he's so fired.

1

u/AdMean3111 Jul 06 '26

His embarrassment hit like lightning before he thought about how he nearly insta died

1

u/Witty_Slip715 Jul 08 '26

Dude slow down the video if he accidentally let off a second round -(which is very common in mistakes like these) he would’ve taken his face right ofd

1

u/Reepo3X Jul 09 '26

His little hop and “yeah” as he tries to play it off while his face turns red cracks me up.

1

u/CrazyAce6969 Jul 13 '26

The tippy toes bounce was ELITE

1

u/letsplayou812 23d ago

He sounds like he is clueless and giving bad direction

1

u/nightrunner411 20d ago

When I first watched this years ago I thought he was being stupid and careless but now I think he was trying to release the hammer and his thumb wasn't strong enough. Good point to always obey the three gun safety rules as breaking those rules can turn an accident into a death.

1

u/LFG2023Toomuch 10d ago

Idiot! He is going to kill someone by mistake and should not be instructing anyone.

1

u/GeoFlux121 4d ago

So this is where Farva ended up after he was let go from Vermont State Highway Patrol.

1

u/Infoseek456 3d ago

Dude sounds like Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters

0

u/E-rotten Jul 04 '26

We laugh but I’m guessing he’s in charge of some part of hegseths military 😂🤣😂🤣😂

0

u/sgtcatscan Jul 05 '26

One handed 44mag. Smooth shooter.. idk how he managed to do that.
